Premier League fixtures 25th/26th February
« on: February 24, 2012, 03:32:39 pm »
Saturday 25th February

Chelsea  v  Bolton Wanderers  15:00
Newcastle United  v  Wolverhampton Wanderers  15:00
Queens Park Rangers  v  Fulham  15:00
West Bromwich Albion  v  Sunderland  15:00
Wigan Athletic  v  Aston Villa  15:00
Manchester City  v  Blackburn Rovers  17.30 Sky Sports

Sunday 26th February

Arsenal  v  Tottenham Hotspur  13:30 Sky Sports
Norwich City  v  Manchester United  13:30
Stoke City  v  Swansea City  15:00

Unfortunately for us, as shite as Chelsea have been recently I can't see them not beating Bolton at home. If they can't then AVB has to be gone surely? Ditto Wolves at Newcastle as Newcaslte are basically at full strength again now. I don't see Spurs getting beat at the Emirates but it should be a decent curtain raiser for the main event that afternoon ;)

Off to the Hawthornes in about half an hour with a mate who's a season ticket holder whos wife isn't going today so he's invited me along. Wonder if i'll see hodge podge trying a sneaky fart sniff or better yet, get on his hands and knees and start nutting the turf as they let in another soft goal.

They seemed content to get a point against us so wouldn't be surprised if it's the same against them.

Not so sure it'll be the same in a derby.

Maybe and Arsenal are more frail than us defensively but they're pretty much going to get third so they may see a point as a decent result away at the Emirates.

Ye I would go with that. However think the fixture list has fallen quite kindly for AVB and Chelsea and can see them picking up a few wins unfortunately

In their last six league games, they've beaten us and got a draw against Arsenal at home and beat Everton away. Yet, they've lost to Wigan and Norwich during the same period, as well as the Mancs. I think they'll end up with another defeat today.

I reckon Norwich will cause the mancs a lot of problems tomorrow with the Holt/Morison partnership and the goal threat of the likes of Pilkington etc.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Yeah but we only want him there so Chelsea keep being shit. So either they keep being shit and he goes, they get someone else who might do better. Or he starts doing better and stays, but Chelsea are doing better.

Either way the bubble is going to burst and I'm going to enjoy watching it get bigger until it does.

Need a Chelsea draw to be honest. If they lose AVB could be sacked and they could get someone decent (Rafa :butt) in there. We need them to hold on to AVB until the end of the season. I genuinely think it's between us and them for forth spot. Arsenal are in freefall and i think they will finish 6th.
