Incorporate the HJC into it somehow, or under it or the justice flame on it's heart?

considering the atmosphere is terrible at lfc homes games at the moment, and inlight of these actions by the club.
a boycott would be something that should happen. these yanks are really threading on the toes of the supporters, and the lost souls.
I wish a boycott happened, and everyone turned up for the game, but didnt walk inside..

a message on a much larger scale needs to be shown, and i think the PSV game is a good match to show our unity.
that game is not seen as a must win, but it would be broadcast to a much larger audience, and would surely get huge coverage.

Yes this is true, decision made by Ian Ayres team at the commercial office based at Old Hall Street in the Echo building, decision was not by Parry.

It is part of the trademark and licensing restructuring at the club.

With the exception of the above from SL, I would love to see an official statement from the club confirming (or denying) this.

Give me some credit. I dont joke when it comes to the HJC. Jerry has taken down two products currently sold bearing a Liverbird, a T shirt and Scarf.

Personally, I think the HJC should copyright the Justice Flame. LFC can pay them a commission for every replica shirt sold then.

Having been in charge of protecting a copyright brand logo before, there are things that the club could do along with allowing the HJC use of the logo .

I think there's been a big miscommunication.

Were it me in the job.. I'd consult with the HJC. I'd ask representatives of the HJC to come in to discuss the trademark of the LFC Liverbird. When they do, they could sign an agreement for 1 quid per year to use the Liverbird logo as long as the club gets a look at the design before the HJC goes ahead. That way the club gets to protect the logo. HJC still can use it if they want to. Or as suggested the HJC can use an entirely different Liverbird such as Kitsters design. As for the stock they have now of things with the logo on, i'd just ask them not to reorder until they sign the agreement.

If this is true then this is something that SoS need to get onto right away (as I'm sure they are).

I think this is potentially the owners' biggest own goal yet (and let's face it they do have a Carra like afinity with their own net). This can actually be a win-win thing for all involved.  For SoS it can be the campaign that all fans will get behind, they can use it to raise their profile and membership. For HJC it can provide them with some publicity and some extra funds in the run up to the 20th Anniversary.

I honestly think that the HJC should tell Ayres and his henchmen to fuck off. If you want us to stop selling them and raising money for those affected by Hillsborough then take us to fucking court. As for us get down their and buy HJC liverbird scarves and T-shirts like there is no tomorrow.

If everyone gets behind this then the further LFC take it the worse it is going to play out for them. They cannot win as long as we don't let them win.
