2012/13 Match Of The Day thread
« on: August 18, 2012, 05:07:12 am »
Probably a few hours early, but here we go. On BBC tonight at 10:20pm.

Lineker, Hansen, Lawrenson, Mick McCarthy and Harry Redknapp are the panel this season.

Hope they've installed a car-door for Redknapp, the wobbly-faced S*n-loving blert.

I'd cry for weeks if McCarthy opened with "Hello, good evening and bollocks". Ringer of Roger Mellie, the man on the telly.

I'll be caned by then anyway after getting home. Quite a helmet collection they have this year. 3 1/2 helmets v Jockey Hansen.

Should jib Lineker and Hansen off and bring in Savage and Crooks , we'd have the dream team .

I like McCarthy, don't know how good a pundit he is yet but he seems ok. They should just have him on and screw the rest.

Surprised Alan ' know it all, but get sacked all the time' Curbishley isn't on this.

This will be quiet amusing this season.

McCarthy is a good egg, excellent co commentator which isn't too different to punditry, so should be fine.

I just hope the others don't influence him.

Really? Do I just have terrible luck or something? It always starts 5 or so minutes after it's scheduled to. Whenever I turn it on the weather's usually still on.

Can't remember the last time I watched it. I'll state now that what Lawro said was a pile of shite in order to fit in though! And i net we get Jonathan Pearce on the Mic for our game for extra annoyance value.

Think we had about 3 free kicks just outside the box and the keeper never had to make a save.  Crap really.
