Lawrenson has been axed as a regular.

There is a God.

Did they give a reason? ( about Lawro, not God)

Ah. Another Manchester United fan crashes out from the woodwork like a bemused koala that has taken three hits of crystal meth.

Get in!
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Praise Jeebus.  Now all they need to do is fire Shearer, Lineker, Jonathan Pearce and send Motty off to the old folks home, and hire AC Jimbo, Rafa Honigstein and a few others and the show might be half watchable again.

Looking forward to seeing more Gianluca Vialli, he's impressed me during the Euros/Confeds.

Because he's shite! Apparently, there were numerous complaints about his crappy commentary and punditry so he got the boot. It's about fucking time as well; don't know a single person who thinks Lawrenson  :wanker is anything other than a twat

the downside is they'll be more robbie savage on the main show.

And Alan Shearer.

" Agger received the ball from the 'keeper there and he laid it square to Gerrard, who just there lifted his head up and looked for Coutinho. Coutinho there, with his boots on and his leg moving, tried to find Suarez there who got the ball from Coutinho there and he looked up and just there, he had a shot there and it found there top corner, right into the roof of the net '.

" Thanks for that Alan, brilliant analysis ".

Oh lord, the nasally challenged manc loving twat chappers has taken over the anchor role on motd2. Remember him as the sports presenter on radio 1 breakfast show many moons ago with his little snide remarks and swipes at Liverpool. Wonder if fronting a show will reel in his neck the fuckin twat!

It'll be like making wine out of Yak piss; if they can manage to make this game look even remotely exciting.

Don't worry; he's the very model of a BBC presenter these days.  Perfectly anodyne and inoffensive, you'd never even know about his dirty past.

The downside of less Lawro on MOTD though, is more Lawro on 5 Live, which is incredibly annoying.
