Some of my family were in Turkey last year!My sister, only 12,decided to get me a Liverpool wallet! The wallet was leather and pretty good quality to be fair but immediately,I noticed a few 'minor' errors. On the front was the Liverpool crest but instead of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' it read 'YOU EL NIVER WAIK AIONE' and rather that Liverpool it read 'LIVREPUOE' . . . I'll get a photo and post it!Its quality!

I have used it for the last year by the way! ;)

Nan had been on the market for christmas presents and picked up some Liverpool Football Club bedding for me and some Everton bedding for my younger brother.

Course it went straight on the bed and I was happy as anything. Until I woke up the next morning stained a curious shade of light red from head to toe. Looked liked I'd developed a rash - ran down the stairs... "Muuuuum!!" Got in the living room to see my brother stood in front of her stained blue and looking remarkably like Smurf with my mum trying not to kill herself laughing. :D

Fucking superb! Love it

not a great one but I bought a bobble hat back in the day when you could get one with two Liverpool 1/3rds on and one Celtic or Rangers 3rd on.  I had a nice Liverpool/Liverpool/Celtic one so decided to buy a Liverpool/Liverpool/Rangers one only it was half and half ie Liverpool/Rangers really shitty quality that kept falling over my eyes after wearing it twice.

I bought a red and white scarf outside wembley in 81 before the West ham game, it started falling to pieces during the game, it was made of white dish cloths and every other one was dyed red, by the time i got back to Lime St i had 10 dishclothes, me mum was made up, she used them as dusters.

Does anybody every remember the 'supporter glove', i think it was actually official merchandise, came out around 1996, one fingerless glove in a cardboard tube, apparently they were the latest thing and they were gonna release one each season, i think the one for 96 was it.  Right piece of tat tho all the same.
They have translated from Halmstads to Malmo, to Orebo to Neuchatel Xamax, to the Swiss national team, so I find the question insulting.

can remember seeing some match programme for a pre season game in 1992

was on of them where the whole squad was on it and you used to mark it with a pen.

the team sheet had peter beardsley, alan shearer and mark hughes on it for us

beardsley was already gone a year. and as for the other two....

Here's the Footrall Club one. And it wasn't 1364, it's 1592.  :P

Also, apologies to our Malaysian brothers, it wasn't bought in Malaysia but somewhere in Spain.

Shit, i had a pic of a shirt a Spanish mate bought about 12 years ago when his was on his school trip to Salou. 10yrs later he moved to Liverpool and loves the Reds.

Its a Liverpool shirt but it's a liverswan rather than a liverbird. Will get the pic up when i find it.

I bought a Liverpool jersey in a market in India once.

Under the Adidas logo on the shirt it said: Just Do It.

During the early eighties I went through an obsessive badge collecting phase. My dear mum decided it would be a good idea to stitch all my badges onto a cushion cover. One of the Liverpool ones in particular is seriously unofficial. The Liverbird looks like a pelican!

you're 33 and you still buy club bedding?!  :P

 ;)

:D

Actually, I did buy a set of club bedding a couple of years back but got it cheap from a seconds shop. Missus' family are all Chelsea supporters from way back when and her mum comes to stay with us a fair bit. Had a fair bit of ribbing at their hands - her mum gave me a Chelsea club towel to use in the bathroom, stuff like that. So the first time she came to stay with us, our spare bedroom got the full works - pics from the Euro finals and of managers in every photo frame we have, Liverpool bedding, scarves draped all over the shop. And a plastic Chelsea flag placed on the pillow. Was worth it just to see her face when she went in there to put her stuff down. :D

Bodrum, Turkey 1990. Bought a Ł2 LFC cotton T-shirt. Had John Barnes' head printed on it. John actually looked more like Louis Armstrong and the head hole wasn't quite big enough to put it on without detaching your ears. Worse was to come though.

Puts it on to go to the beach. The beach is about 5 miles away and involves catching a bus. The bus was no bigger than a Sherpa minibus. Got to a point were there's 20 people on board and the temperature must be touching 120 degrees. Sweating me nuts off big time.

Gets off the bus and peels me John Barnes shirt off to find all the bleeding dye had come out and I'm stained bright red! Looked like a right arse!

Never had any awful unofficial stuff as I always buy the official gear to support the club (pre and post cancer era obviously) but some of the later Reebok stuff was proper shite. Their kits used to be brilliant at one point but towards the end...

I had the green official Adidias either 94/95 with the stripes that run fro side to front.  Was diabolical but it was the first kit I aver bought.

A sad story about a victimized species of bird that was made to look like a duck, crane, pelican and flamingo among others.

Also.....a forged ticket for the 1986 fa cup final.  The print quality was bad enough but the twin towers had been omitted...and drawn in with biro.  I was too embarassed to even attempt to use it.  I did manage to get in though with the old 2 in a turnstile trick.
