Nothing new. I never liked the way he left us. I kinda feel sorry for him actually, missing out on playing the final.
We were in a shambles, and we still are. Can't really blame him.

I am concerned that we had to resort to lumping it to the big man though, we are Liverpool Football Club and should be better than that.

This was the real disappointment for me, in the last 10 minutes of the match. We were in control and they were under pressure  we then relieved that pressure by going long instead of keeping the ball and making good passes.

I believe that's the one I made. And my opinion is that it is not conclusive at all. Still need to take into account the ball's distance from the line and crossbar, and you'll probably end up with just over half the ball crossing the line.
Yeah, that image makes it look as though the goal frame is 'leaning' back when it's actually the camera.  If the camera was perfectly relative, it'd show the ball on the line, not over.

Question: was it a goal? Was at the match and celebrated when Andy headed it. Convinced it was in. Was it?
No it wasn't a goal mate, anyone saying it crossed the line is deluded.

Can't believe many haven't mentioned Carroll's chance on his left peg when he was in the area. He played class though, like he has done the past few months. Glad I wasn't one of the c*nts who shot him down at every opportunity.

No, again. We don't win the Cup if the Goal is given. We get a chance, yes.

You would be equally upset if the situation was switched and Chelsea got awarded the goal there.

You'd see the same exact pictures that are all over this thread with people saying "See! It's not in! It's no conclusive!"

Just. Stop. We Lost.

How fucking shockin to be corrected for a football girl by a girl. It wasn't in. End of.

We scored 3 goals in 6 minutes in Istanbul. I'm not having this "we played crap for 60 minutes" bollocks because we can play shit for 89 and still come out winners.

Today feels like the Athens Champions League final.

Athens felt 10 times worse, but this is the closest I've felt to Athens. CL finals don't come round every year. it's probably gonna be years and years before we reach another cl final.

Disnr think Carroll dis anything wrong with the 'goal'. Just a great save. Also thought Downing here into the game and with Carroll on and is herring on top ir made sense to keep him out there.wasn't to be

he did something 'wrong' , from that distance  he could have placed the ball to make it unsaveable.

But i don't blame him, every striker has a 'miss rate', and he scored a cracker and overall played pretty well.

But to say he didn't do anything wrong with that header is incorrect imo

Was ultimately the team selection and tactics in those 60 minutes that cost us the match though.

Do you think he'll be allowed money to spend? His recent track record of spending money isn't that good.

And yes Andy was great today but he still should have scored that header!

Well if Kenny is kept on I think he'll want the assurance of having money to spend, cos it's obvious we are 2 or 3 players short of what we need.

Don't forget it works both ways I'm sure Kenny will be just as keen to release players and recoup money that way.

Kenny has made mistakes in the transfer market, but what manager hasn't?

You're possibly right but it was given. Slightly different context as well, they would've lost their keeper to a red card and faced a penalty if it wasn't.

So if the team lets you down and doesn't perform, do you boo during YNWA?
Are the team purposely trying to destroy the football club? No.
Therefore your answer is a no.

it wasn't all that bad. with better luck we could have won it.. but its not like we had it this season. we weren't outplayed or outclassed. the tactics were wrong and leaving carroll was wrong. but at the end of the day we will learn from it and come stronger next season. There was plenty of positive to take with us, Andy is only 23.. and Pray to God he will stay here for many years.

To me, after examining the evidence, it looked in. Guys, stop spreading misinformation saying that it wasn't, this is pretty conclusively saying it was.

That is beside the point. We lost and we deserved to. We move on. The goal wasn't given, end of. Still, let's not dismiss the fact that it went in.

Not many managers sign players solely and exclusively based on their nationality. You have to look at the player that is right for the team not ignore them if they are not british.

Massive improvement in the transfer market needed.
