Another guaranteed sale for me for Boro on 14 aways.  Will more than likely get the overnight coach back down to London after the game, trains/hotel in Newcastle would be too expensive.

Just as well I'm not eligible for tickets for this game (or any other at the moment!) cos I've been to the Riverside four or five times and haven't even seen us score a goal >:(

The difference of 272 seats makes 7 credit difference compared to Southampton.... Something doesn't add up personally

I reckon it's OK.  Some decent pubs on the walk to the ground.

Ayresome Park, that was horrible.

Been to Riverside twice and never confronted.

Been Ayresome Park twice, confronted twice.

Thinking abar it, think I went straight to Newcastle after the match both times after Riverside.  At Ayesome though it was unavoidable.

What's their away end like, is it one level or upper and lower?

we're no longer in the South Stand behind the goal, but in the East Stand towards the South Eastern corner. Looks like upper/lower tier.

As Chrissy put it in Boys from the Blackstuff 'If you wanted to give the world an enema, you'd insert it in Middlesbrough'

It will indeed be freezing and miserable (it's like that in July) and the chemical refineries will be belching out that noxious smog so you'll barely see the pitch. The locals will be less than friendly (it's the North East but it ain't Newcastle or Sunderland) and you'll want to be back on the road straight after the final whistle back to.....well anywhere really

Oh and we rarely get anything out the game whether it's at Ayresome Park or the Riverside. Remember when Westerveld complained of ice on the ball?!

I'll see you all there!

Wonder if that boat is still moored outside the stadium?  Think it was up at Newcastle once upon a tyne (see what I did there?:)) as a nightclub boat

Was pretty good pre-match drinking in there if I remember correctly with Strippers on the lower deck :lickin

Pc broken so only got my phone (Samsung S5) but just can't  get the seat selector to appear,  or even the option to try to get it to appear.  I'm sure others have. Is it a browser issue? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

It's just a media query so fine in chrome/safari etc, it's the size of the screen that dictates what you can see. This is set in rem units but the font is set to 100% so if you can make your general setting font size smaller, it may appear ;D I can do it on the browser so zooming out the font size and getting it to appear but haven't tried it on my phone.

My android phone doesn't give me the option to choose individual seats either, all I get is the 'buy tickets now' option (in Chrome).
