Most defensive team i've seen us play all season.

Doesn't matter if they manage to nick a point or more. It's up to us to break them down. It's the way we're playing that's the problem here.

Haven't won a league game all season without Mane..

Haven't lost either, to be fair.

Take Can off, drop Lallana into midfield. Bring on a striker.

Absolutely at sea for the last couple of weeks since Mane left. Zero pace in the side.

That is the issue. Zero pace. It's all well and good waiting for Pulisic and Brandt if they are "available" in summer but what happens if we can't get them then either. A huge opportunity wasted. Coutinho, firmino and lallana are much better with a fast attacker in the side.
Thank Fowler we're not getting Caulker

Really worried about our form. We have gotten worse and worse since about november.

Have to say I agree. Take any one of our front four out of the team and we seem to struggle an awful lot.

Really poor so far today. We're in trouble if we don't improve. It had that 12.30 kickoff feeling from the very start - no urgency, no intensity, no penetration. Textbook Liverpool after last week, which was probably our best performance since the 0-0 at Southampton back in November.

Henderson needs to set the tempo -- and these shouldn't be particularly difficult games for him -- but he's been awful. Gave the ball away five times in the first 15 mins.

Also think Klopp should be doing more. We've become progressively worse at breaking teams down over the season, which is disappointing. But what are we doing to combat it? It feels like we're trying the same thing again and again, expecting different results.

Also, the way we are set up is quite odd. If you aren't going to play with wide players -- and we aren't, even less so without Mane -- then you need attacking fullbacks to provide the width. Clyne needs to up his game and offer more, whereas Milner -- as good as he is -- can't magically become left-footed, so he's quite predictable and somewhat limited in his play.

Can and Wijnaldum are the new Lucas and Mascherano: one is fine, both are overkill. Barely seen either one of them so far.

Personally I'd get Moreno on for Miller, drop Lallana into midfield and take off Wijnaldum/Can for Sturridge/Origi. It would stop us looking so lifeless and blunt, at least. We've basically given Swansea a free pass in that first half, and now we're under pressure to score.

At the moment it feels like most of our players, fans and staff are just waiting for a moment of inspiration from one of the front three, and that's not good enough. If we're not more prp-active in the second half then we're in real danger of dropping points here, and that would be a big, big blow.

We need to start with a striker period.

Whats a striker period? ;D
As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.

They've had 33% ball possession.

Yes, but unlike Sunderland they're passing it out rather than aimlessly launching it. We are much better than them, and we are also having a good game breaking up their possession. Think that's the likely source of a first goal. Especially if we keep this lineup instead of making a positive change

We will win. Its rare teams get pumped on consecutive weeks so they are putting up a fight after that shambles last week but I expect us to escape with 3 points which is all that matters

Jurgen looks absolutely fucking furious!

He should be.
That is a shameful performance, mostly from our midfield that does next to nothing, forcing all three attackers to drop down for the ball to show them how it's done.

STOP FUCKING CROSSING THE FUCKING BALL

Jesus christ someone tell our full backs and every other fucker that we don't have an out an out striker on the pitch and we don't have anyone over 5.10 in the front line

Have some patience... create overloads...penetrate etc etc

Utterly fucking brainded performance in the final third - as bad an attacking half as we've had since Burnley
knew we'd score from a cross after this
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now

Never enjoy posting during commentary but why oh why did we only wake up after they scored.  Sort it out Klopp!
