Draw was a fair result but being ahead for so long frustrating not to see it through. Gini needs to finish that chance at the end. Oh well 7 points behind but there's still a lot of games left

Matip, Clyne, Mane all out with Coutinho starting on the bench and an 18 year old kid making his debut at Old Trafford. It's a decent point but it feels like a kick in the stomach to concede late and not win it.

Mourinho's substitutions made the difference, yeah it was ugly but he brought on mop head for one reason and one reason only and it worked for them. I understand Klopp's hesitation with substitutions but I really think we should have brought on either Moreno or Sturridge on at some point there.

They had much too many good chances for my liking and Mignolet was MOTM, but given their actual goal was offside an incredibly frustrating result.

Pogba should have been off as well, he's making a habit of assaulting players like that. Got away with doing it to Joe Allen earlier in the season.

Credit to us - rode our luck at times but should have won overall. I said a few days ago all we ask is fair officiating and for the most part they had a decent if unspectacular game but the one decision they got wrong cost us 2 points so a bit gutted.

Best yet to come from us!

They really have been getting utterly ridiculous luck with the assistants recently. Why was the linesman standing 5 yards ahead of play, when the player in the furthest position is standing a yard in from the touchline?

As someone said in here earlier, we never get a win against them when we just edge it.

A point not the end of the world for us. Game over for them in terms of the league, not that they had a chance anyway. Up against Swansea next week, with City playing Spurs. Hopefully we get a bit of a cushion back.

Oh well, the worst away fixture of the season is out of the way for us and we come away with a respectable point. Could've been a lot better had Gini had his shooting boots on though. So much for them smashing us off the park though eh.

It's a tired trend having a go at refs but Oliver was poor today. Not a single one of their players booked despite the JCB agricultural football on display, Had Bobby been sent off it'd have been Oliver's fault for not blowing on time and facilitating the situation. Martial spent more time diving than on his feet...nothing.

Not a bad day, just wanted a little more in front of goal.

Michael Oliver in his attempt to "even" things after the blatant penalty was one-sided as fuck. How many lunges from them went unpunished? The worst was Herrera. It was almost Bobby picking up the yellow just to see the little c*nt shoved to the ground.

Oliver started as refs so often do - ensuring little things are given to the away team, to boost his neutral credentials. But after that we got fuck all from him, and Rooney was over the top on Milner and should have walked. They have quite a few snides in their team apart from Herrera.

The ale house stuff from them was predictable - but hardly surprising given our lack of aerial ability as a team.

United needed all 3 points in my opinion so that wasn't a bad point in the end. The title is a long way off though, we need to invest heavily in this squad before we can be true contenders. With the right options today and we're winning that game.

I'll take that but we had chances, all of our top 6 away games are done plus Everton. 10 home games and apart from Chelsea we have a good run ahead of us and European football is back too.

Mignolet was outstanding and Firmino needs a kick up the hole. TAA was supberb on a day like today and everyone else was excellent but Lovren was my man of the match.

Considering the form they've been in it's a good point. Can't help but be frustrated to only come away with one when we led for so long though.

Only the Etihad left to go away to from the five clubs around us and we've come away unbeaten from the other four. Can't wait to get Mane back in this team, we're really missing him but I can't really fault the effort or performance of anyone today. Just a shame we didn't hold on for the win.

We played really well with a lot of key players out, and it was only when utd went route one with hoofball that they created more chances. the draw hurts them more than us and we are still 3rd, level with spurs in 2nd, and with chelsea to come to anfield in 2 weeks.
