the 2nd half has been a good preparation for the next game, without having to go into first gear and also affording lallana and firmino a bit of rest as well.

good win and keeping up with the GD as well, merry christmas again everyone~~

Loved seeing Danny score again. Let's hope he doesn't stop scoring again :D Also, Lallana's goal... incredibly tight angle, dunno how he did it but boy, I'm absolutely glad he did ;D

Great game from Liverpool.
Clicked through gears and blew them away.

Hope we catch a good rest before Saturday and the crowd is once again up for it.

We're looking really good.

And we'll not lose so many of those games once Klopp has had another couple of transfer windows to perfect his squad.

Good game.

Looked a little bit lost for a few minutes after they scored, but other than that, totally bossed it.

Don't know who the fucking commentator was on S*y (someone called Gary?), who stated numerous times that Stoke were superb, they were unlucky to be losing after their excellent display, actually stated that "Liverpool have struggled for most of this match", basically everything that Sterk did was wonderful play and 3 out of our 4 goals were utterly preventable and down to them gifting it to us.

In short - Fuck off no-mark.  3 points to us.

Bring on City.

Have to say that I was disappointed with Firmino though - Dropping poor Lallana on his head after his goal.  He could've injured him.   :P

Took a bit of time to get going but looked superb from 35 minutes onwards.

Does anyone else feel there is still so much more to come from us? Just feel someone is going to get absolutely smashed at some point if we fully click from the start.

Bar the first 25 minutes I quite enjoyed that. The 10 minute phase where we had 81% possession was the critical one, as Stoke just could not live with us. A smart save from Mignolet turned the tide; if that went in and Stoke went 2 up, it would have been a tougher task. Bar their goal I didn't think our defence was challenged at all, and when they were they dealt with everything perfectly.

Of course, the perfect Christmas present was Ryan Shawcross making a complete arse of himself and giving Studge a tap in. We shouldn't really laugh but it's hard not to.

Anyway, bring on City I say. No fear at all, lets make it a hat trick of blueshite smashing. Off to enjoy my evening now, happy days :scarf

And in the duration of that game, Carrie Fisher and Richard Adams, (who wrote Watership down) passed away, Busy week ending a great star harvesting year for the grim reaper. Perhaps he should listen to Klopp's advice and take an enforced winter break!.
Lovely win.

Could have been a very different match if they scored the second, but weathered a difficult 15minutes and took control.

Got us off-guard, but we adjusted pretty quickly to their tactics, shifted up a gear and stayed in 3rd gear for the rest of the game.

Magnificent Liverpool!

How painful that must be if you're in 1st or any of the other 4 below us! ;D
After tonight, their hearts must've sank, coz we look like we're never going to give up.

Easy win against a woeful side. The fact that these will finish mid table says a lot about the horrendous lack of quality outside of the top few teams in this league, unfortunately not a good thing when you are chasing a side thats good at dispatching bum teams but we will give it a right go at catching them thats for sure.

Good all round. Don't even mind us conceding, as it was a bit flukey, and showed we can respond.

Made up for Sturridge, Firminho, as a team we just looked solid. We looked a class ahead and showed them who's boss.

We did it on a dark December day against Stoke  ;D

Good win. Went in and did what we had to after a tough start. Now for two more on the trot. We've just got to force Chelsea into mistakes and winning games is the best way to do that.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.
