Need to sort our heads out if we're going to win this. We were struggling to string 2 passes together at times and we're second to every loose ball. This is their cup final - they were always going to raise their game and we need to play accordingly. We're a better side than them but we have to start showing a bit of composure to make it count.

Pretty horrible from both sides to be honest. We were getting bullied for 30 minutes and they resorted to long balls and crosses.

They were all energy for the first half an hour but haven't been able to keep it up and didn't really work a decent chance despite all that effort. They'll probably start the second half the same way but tire a lot quicker and then we'll take control again I reckon.

We've got this, just need to get that final pass right.

It's not been that good has it? We've not been allowed to settle, have had almost no time on the ball and have created nothing. We looked really rattled in those first 25 minutes as well. Hopefully Klopp sorts its out for the second.

I can't see them keeping us from scoring, Klopp will have a word with the team at half time and I think we'll be better in the second half. Sturridge to make a return and hopefully get a goal or two.

Some of players ala Henderson and Origi need to settle down and play their natural games.

It's a terrible football match. Both teams absolutely devoid of any quality, you'd be forgiven we was third and Everton ninth because it's more like a relegation quality game, it really is.

It's basically who can push the other one off the ball the best, absolute shite

It's honestly as if people see two different games, Everton came out blood and thunder for the first 15 minutes and made it difficult since then we've been in control and are starting to turn the screw. I see us scoring in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

Wijnaldum is so technically uninspiring to me, but I know people here disagree. Him and Mane have been particularly awful with the ball today.

Klavan and Lovren doing very well despite the bellend commentators claiming how Lukaku is dominating them
