I haven't seen them myself. The site I saw these on said the kit had been leaked but take a look at these fake ones that have been mocked up and that was the accompanying picture.

I doubt you'll see it anytime soon. I'm guessing you've grown up with the other badge but many would argue this badge is more us because it was around long before the one with the gates on it.

Nah. It's tacky and over designed. The liver bird is far more elegant and has real history behind it, rather than being drummed up by a marketing bloke in the 90s.

Why do people care so much about what the kits look like? As long as the home kit is red, the away kits don't matter.

This year's home kit is really ugly, though. Weird shoulders. Useless buttons and bows. A lot of people want to get one for themselves, and they'd prefer one that doesn't make them look like Joan Collins in Dynasty.

Apparently from next season, clubs don't have to have the Premier League badge on the sleeves, but can now have another sponsor there instead. Anyone know if we can take advantage of this? Is there anything in the Standard Chartered deal that states they are the sole kit sponsor?

How much extra revenue would that generate? Personally, I think one sponsorship label on a kit is enough, in my opinion.

£10m was the figure I read. The difference between signing Balotelli or Shane Long 
Not a huge fan of it either to be honest. First step on the way to ridiculous looking shirts with 5 or 6 sponsors.

Wouldn't be any advantage everybody would be doing it.

I meant can we do it in terms of have another sponsor along with Standard Chartered, as opposed to getting ahead of everyone else.

Not saying you're wrong, but I find it absolutely crazy to think that the PL are going to consciously remove their branding from kits.

Yeah find it strange too, especially after dropping their own sponsorship and rebranding. The PL brand is something they are usually extremely protective of.

They will still have the Premier League badge on one sleeve, but not the Barclays badge. The link above does state a couple of clubs can't do it though due to their current the sponsor deal. Whilst I think the idea is shite, I hope we aren't one of them and lose out to the clubs we're competing against. We've already got an uphill task as it is without them having another potential £10m

I can confirm that we are looking for sleeve sponsors for next season. I can't give more info other than that I know a company that is currently in negotiations.

As it's the same sponsor for 8-10 teams, and most (all?) teams have a betting sponsor, I doubt it would be another betting sponsor as there would be a conflict.
