A bit dull, but the kids aren't doing too badly. A couple of the more senior players to come on in the second half and we should win this comfortably.

These are shite - parking 11 behind the ball.

The young guns are that tad too inexperienced to take advantage.

Ojo looks good but he needs to beef up a bit or he won't last long.

I really like young Woodburn - reminds me of a young Ian Rush - poachers instincts on the lad.

Dunno if it is complacency or caution but tis all sideways and sloooow. Kids are alright, but this has 'suckerpunch' writ large. Get some seniors on, put the game to bed, coast through remaining minutes I say.

It`s all a bit too nice.Up the tempo a bit and we`ll see a few goals.
That right peg hits it and you see the future arc of the ball and time goes al gluey like a Dali painting, and for a second there's a 20yr old StevenGerrard and your young self cheering him on through the prism. His big smile fades in an the net is shivering and J.Hart's trying not to look grateful for the privilege of being that close to greatness

This bus parking is gross, every team doing it now, 6 at the back hoping for a 0-0. You're a league side playing against kids, maybe go for it a bit?

Kids are class, Trent AA is a future superstar, and Woodburn is special, I'd actually like to see him at #10 playing off Origi, feel on the wings his options are limited, and he tends to vacate that space when Moreno has the ball anyway.

Good patience by the young kids.  Not easy breaking down 11 men camped inside 20 yards of their own goal.  Just need that 1 clear cut chance.

Ojo looks good but he needs to beef up a bit or he won't last long.

That's an odd comment.  Ojo is a really strong kid.

well plymouth parked the bus, but disappointingly we have no idea how to take advantage of their reluctance to leave the penalty area.  We've got trent and moreno in behind but nothing to show for it.

This is just a daft game of football. Plymouth are literally just defending. Not ven bothering to have a go in the slightest.  Magic of the FA eh?

Not surprised the youngsters are finding this tough. How often so they play against this kind of football? Need Daniel Sturridge to come on and help guide them to victory.

so many positives. not least the confidence, belief and ability of the 6 youngsters. now just need to tie it up.

just need a few faster pieces of play. bit more interchanging from wide, and we'll have more chances like moreno did at the end when he was free in the box to pick someone out.

fancy ojo and arnold to create something

Out of all the youngsters you're saying it's Ojo who needs to beef up???

Very comfortable but that's the problem. Other than Ojo nobody is trying something different. Can and Stewart have been far too sluggish and predictable. We need to get in behind their defence and only Ojo has done that so far.

Great to watch the kids
Woodburns close control is legit

To be honest we could take off Stewart or a centre back for an attacker - probably gave too few attacking players on the pitch
Someone suggested Sturridge on for Karius - seems like the right move

6-3-1 formation :)

They're holding us well, but we do lack pace or a twist of genius up front. I'm really comfortable with this and actually enjoying it.

Probably 2-0 in the end :)

One of those where being so dominant on the ball may actually be helping the opposition. They're happy enough with 10 men behind the ball and our young lads are just struggling a bit to break it down. But for all that, TAA has looked as promising as ever pushing forward on the right, Woodburn's shown some nice touches and Ejaria looks like an exceptionally elegant and tidy midfielder in the making.

But, we could use a little experience and that bit of talent on the ball to break these down. Lallana perhaps? We're just missing that vision and skill.

At home, try and scrape a famous draw and then get big money replay, that's fair enough. But away from home...? Even Havant and Waterlooville tried to have a football match.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Not sure Plymouth were setting out to play that way. It's just that we've pinned them into their half like we've done to most teams this season and not allowed them to get out. We've made better sides than them look terrible this season. It's the Klopp way. We've no cutting edge though and need Sturridge on soon.
