Not sure how Klopp can think we don't need reinforcements for better subs in January Window. Only 1 change when the team is tired. And who's going to come on to score besides Origi? Lucas? Moreno? Alberto looks like our most dangerous sub with tired legs and that says it all.

Not a great half all in all but it's another defensive error which bites us on the arse. Soft penalty but an absolute brain dead 'tackle' by Klavan lets them back into the game. Centre half in Jan would be a must for me.

Should be said it all came from Emre Can letting the ball go under his foot for a throw-in in typically sloppy fashion. The difference between him and Hendo in that role in terms of focus, intensity and supporting his centre halves in possession is night and day unfortunately.

Fingers crossed we step it up second half, I think we've got enough going forward to get the win here, cannot afford any more errors though.

Was thinking that myself - they have been really lively and energetic, and it's now how they usually play. They'll tire, it's up to us to take advantage.

Simple tactic is killing us. As soon as you get the ball punt it into space in one of the channels. Its so moronic and simple even Moyes thought of it.

Personally I see him as a box to box midfielder, give him the free role with a creator and a destroyer next to him and he'll do some damage, he's a powerful lad when given the freedom to run and have a go, just hasn't got the discipline to sit back and be the anchor between Midfield and Defence.

The penalty in that match was out of nowhere tbf, the one bright spot in their performance. Today they've looked pretty threatening.

Would help if we'd stop putting attacks on a platter for them

Without Hendo backing Can up, he looks very average. He has 45minutes+ to turn his performance around and put things right in the defense. We had the fewest shots on our goal over the last couple of games and today, again without Hendo, they are having shots at will.

I reckon they will be getting an earful from Klopp, but might not be good enough for tired legs. Perhaps Lucas will be called upon but that's the only change I can see happening.

Good thing is we are also getting behind their back line, small improvement at both ends will see us over the line. 3 points please

Sunderland played at a really great pace - surely they won't be able to keep that up. Will really be a test of our fitness in this second half.

We should be dominating midfield but we are not - very evidently missing Henderson.

When we get the ball to the final third, we find ways through. If we can stay focused, we will win this game. If we drop our concentration or are too casual up front then this can be difficult.

To be fair people were saying the same about Henderson at the start of the season but he's played himself into that role. It's stupid (especially if that poster) to criticise Can after his first game there this season.
