The OP on this thread states it will be done by a member called Kopenhagen, who's not been online for a couple of days, would it make sense for someone else to do it?

Again if it's not up by the morning anyone should be allowed to put together whatever they like. I get the idea behind the guest writers doing it but it's happened a few times now where the writer has forgotten or somethig has come up. Just my humble opinion ofcourse.

Kopenhagen is down for the City game. I contacted him recently and he confirmed his intent.

But if it's not there by this afternoon I think it's safe to assume other commitments have taken precedent and it won't be forthcoming.

If that's the case feel free to open one up as it 100% warrants discussion.

I completely understand and empathise with your frustration. The idea behind the guest sign up was to try and improve the quality of the writing on the main boards. I think, to a large degree, it's been successful in doing that. On the flip side, when someone isn't able to fulfill their commitment it leaves forum users without a place to discuss an upcoming match.

Maybe in the new year we could trail some sort of pre match deadline. Maybe if it's not there 48 hours before a game anyone's free to wade in?

OK mate, under the circumstances the optimum time to post it would be just before the City game. That prevents you from worrying about it immediately after our frantic 4-2 win over City and it gives people time to enthral about our next victory.
