Suarez will be wound to all fuck.

Which is just the reason I hope we don't play him. He'll bite someone's head off.

More people will tune in for Man Utd vs Liverpool in round 3 than Liverpool vs Huddersfield or Utd vs Leicester in round 4.

Not that I'm trying to say that its a fix or anything, I'm just saying how TV works ;D

But you'll still end up with Liverpool vs Huddersfield or United vs Leicester in round four. In fact you're guaranteed something like that because one of Liverpool or United will be out. The way TV works is to keep the big clubs apart until the later stages and ideally the two biggest teams in the final.

And in other sports and indeed football competitions, its manipulated so the big games are at the end if it goes to plan.

Like Wigan and Swansea? Nah, that's part of the magic, I suppose. Wembley was far too small on both occasions.

Anyway, interesting draw for us. We play Southampton at home before, they play City away a day after us, right?

There's no way Suarez wants to leave this window :P

As said before by a poster, this is why we love football. They may have advantage of playing at home, but they have derby before and are involved in European games. There's no way they want to rest their players; this can ruin their season mightily. Tasty :D

Or our Luis could deliberately crash us out just to 'reiterate' his desire to become a Gunner...

This is a must win with much to lose for Moyes - complained about money etc - now with much more resources and some top class talent,  l losing is not an option.

I think this is a gift from heaven, i would much rather go there than be home to some lower division side, and it being Luis's first game back absolute class, anybody that thinks this is a bad idea in my book is deluded, if we are to win trophies then we have to beat big teams, i dont care if its the 3rd round and its away, it will be a great night out and with the big allocation a chance to show that lot what 8,000 real fans can do, great draw, bring it on

It's exactly because of this that we stand a very good chance of knocking them out. We've done it to them in cups- whether at OT or Anfield.

This is a great draw.
Last time we knocked them out was in Kenny's first season back- at OT in the FA Cup, wasn't it. And they were more "formidable" then- being under their old manager?

We actually got beaten at OT in the fa cup 3rd round under kenny. It was his first game back.

The win you are thinking of was the 2012 season when we got to final. Luis was suspended and we beat Man U at home.

But I agree that it'll be a great tie.

How long till Moyes says "I find it hard to believe that's the way the balls came out of the bag, that's for sure."?
"Moysey" must be surprised yet at the same time, horrified, at just how deep the conspiracy runs.
Wherever he goes, "Liverpool FC" is "thrown at him"- in this, the early stages of his glitter move to Manchester ;)
