Wouldn't be surprised if it's a 4-2-3-1 with a '2-1' in midfield instead of a 4-3-3 with a '1-2'.

Instead of who? Downing? Coutinho? Hendo?

Instead of Downing (imo). I understand the reasoning for the starting 11 but Sturridge is a real goal threat for us

Very disappointed Sturridge isnt starting  >:(

Slight dip in form might give him a bit of a kick up the arse. Good to have an excellent attacking option from the bench.

Happy with that team. Carra will be solid at the back and we've got some bodies in midfield at last.

After yesterdays results we have to get all 3 points today. Come on
If he retires I'll eat my fucking cock.

Great anti climax for those expecting jizzihno....

Joe Bennett's starting at LB for Villa, suddenly I feel a lot more confident that I did.  Hopefully Downing gets at him from the off, Bennett's been a particularly weak point for them all season.

Villa don't win many games. We have tended to win more often than not recently so we are favourites. Villa have a very weak underbelly when they fall behind. I was actually at Valley Parade back in January and saw them collapse to League 2 Bradford - their heads dropped in a fashion that was frankly disgraceful.

In a strange mood for this one. Won't be able to watch as I've just got on a plane. Also, if Villa go down then my brother may well lose his job.

Still want us to win like, but maybe just by the odd goal.

I do hope Johnson has recovered his form, he has been shite for the last couple of games.  This is a good mental test for the team.  I really hope they step up.

Think we will be a bit more solid in Midfield with Downing in there, than with Sturridge, Sturridge will be far more dangerous when he comes on later in the match

after the debacle the other week, we need to get back on track today

He's got an almost telepathic relationship with Benteke. Almost like Enrique has with Suarez. He plays those crossfield crosses from the middle of the opposition half really well.

I fancy a 2-1 win. Suarez early brace, villa score late on

Can't see us winning this one. Villa still have something to fight for. Hopefully the lads haven't ended the season early in their minds and we win though!
