I don't necessarily want a huge injection either, just something to help me get by. I had a couple of injuries and fatigue issues last season so had to start 73 rated players in some games. Would be nice to get at least something like 20 million in to get out of debt and be able to buy 1-2 players more.

Such little transfer activity :D teams must really be broke.

If people want to trade, they should save any cash they have. Dont think you can deal at all while in the red

Last day carnage!

Cash flow crisis!

I'll bump the economy up to 'super rich', or whatever is above rich. If we end up with too much cash I'll knock it down again.

Will post further when I can get near my laptop! :)

Keep the money as it is I say. We'll all regret it down the line if cash is worthless. The challenge of balancing the books and in particular your wage bill should be something we all embrace.

Yeah. Some of us picked our teams with wage bills in mind and didn't chuck money at the higher rated players because of it. Budgeted wisely. Upping the cashflow could possibly be viewed as a way to reward those with the power squads like they don't have an advantage as it is :D
Saying that, i'm not sure even upping it to rich would make that much of a diff

and didn't tell the new people.

Sneaky.  ;D

I agree though, less money makes it more interesting even though I'm probably in the most debt.

;D you were the only one new to the game so you were easily forgotten. If there was a bunch it would have been more clearer but you should have had some inclination of cost of wages :D

Yep.

Keep the money as it is.

St Etienne were in the red after an away game and in the ....  whatever colour it is after a home. Its a fine line but happy with that.

No, it's understandable for you to feel a bit agrieved because i remember you mentioning it at the start of the world when you realised. You just didn't ask the right questions at the time but you'll do alright, in time.

I think it would be better without cash injections

Would make us all manage our finances better rather than be bailed out all the time!

Are there any major repercussions of remaining in the red, other than not being able to sign players?

Congrats Deportivo, Foggia and Parma. The glory days are returning!

Pairs of classic Diadoras for every one of your players (and yourselves too as respectable full kit managers), Baggio/Barnesy era, have been packed aboard Concorde and are winging their way to your respective end-of-season all inclusive training camps as we speak!

Good luck on your respective hunts for back-to-backs, will be a monumental achievement should any of you do it.

--

I'm happy to keep the cash as it is. Seems to be the majority decision. :)

From memory the pre-season cash injection is much more than the prize money. Should be enough to get those of us in debt, out of it, and at least give us wriggle room until wages drop it back in.

I'm at the minimum squad size, 21, assume some others are too. So once transfer bans are up we won't be able to directly sell for cash, but we should still be able to trade out players 2-for-1 which will allow us to slowly grow our squads. Then we can start selling for cash (presumably externals and unmanageds will start bidding) if we want, when squads are at least at 22.

Also, just checked out Kaiserslautern's squad. Building a sexy team despite missing out on the draft.

None as far as I'm aware. Thought there could be a chance of players being sold automatically to clear the debt, but judging by the SM forums that doesn't happen.

Just looked at my results and I lost to Deportivo twice . I also had to play a big part of the season without Florenzi and even Ricky Rodriguez was out meaning I had to play with an 85 and 83 rated fullbacks as even Pereira was out at some point too.

Sucks watching other teams make transfers when I don't have any money. This is why I wanted a bigger injection at this point. It is pretty much random which teams get the bigger attendances in the beginning and get to pick more players now.

Lots of teams seem to have some millions left for new signings. I haven't had anything since the draft.

Flamengo can make singings because we didn't finish the season in red before the end of season cash injection, but that's more to less wages being paid out. Our attendance was fairly rubbish

Could be worse. He had a bunch of other accepted bids which collapsed when he left. No idea what he was playing at though. I'd imagine the few players he bought would have got some attention if people get a chairman kitty large enough. Now it's a long wait for anyone interested in them

Sorry about that chaps. Thought he knew the score as he was around during the draft.

Once I let him know, he then quit to cancel the other transfers. Said he didn't want to be the worlds whipping boy. Don't think he realises the advantage he had having a squad of 60+. Guaranteed cup win at least.

Anyway, this gives the gameworld it's first competitive unmanaged team!

The 35 squad limit. Told him to hold off on transfers until the bans were up for his squad.

Flumy have proper players as opposed to the SM signed 60 rated dross.

It's probably gotten lost in the discussion. It's here somewhere. But yeah, keep the 35 in mind. I should message each manager individually too what with the transfer bans coming up.
