Saw Lady Gaga on Wednesday at the Echo Arena not knowing what to expect and only knowing a few tunes, came out of it a fan she put on one hell of a show and had the whole arena bouncing!

Yeah, want to go to Reading but loads of good bands seem to be playing other festivals. The headline rumours imo aren't great, but i've heard Gorillaz might be doing it and my mate has been saying that The Libertines might be reforming and playing it.

If either of them two do it i'll be there in a shot. Been to Reading the last two years just wanted a change this year so going IoW. Brilliant atmosphere usually, and a cracking line up too this year.

I agree with that, but I don't think either will headline.  Besides which, we fear the worst every year for Reading, but they've rarely let people down with the three headliners...

I'd be disappointed if Green Day and Blink 182 were headliners. Two very similar sounding bands, with the former having a far superior back catalogue than the other. So given a choice of one, i'd have to plumb for Green Day.

I went in 2005, 2008, and last year as well.
Yeah, 2005 was class, though I missed Maiden and chose to watch a Bloc Party that night instead.  At the time, it was the right thing to do.

I'm hoping either Alice in Chains or Soundgarden show up, but i imagine if they do, they won't headline. Either way as long as there are some good alternatives to headliners which aren't my cup of tea it'll be fine.

Radiohead were pretty amazing last year as well. I'd imagine Pearl Jam would have also been ace.
I've seen one of Casablancas shows on is solo tour. It's actually pretty good stuff. I enjoyed it anyway.

Yeah, he put an album out called Phrases for the Young. he was touring here in December.  I'm not keen on The Strokes, but I was curious for other reasons, so decided to check the show out. I wasn't disappointed. It's a bit more electronic, but it comes off well live.

Went to see Paramore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last night. My ears are still ringing and my voice is gone. Went in the standing pen, surrounded by kids who haven't even gone for national service and heckled the opening local act. Morons tried to push me, but I'm a big fucker so they gave up after a while and I had a nice little space to myself. Jumped up and down and screamed my brains out alongside a cute girl who was doing likewise. Highlights were Misery Business, Ignorance, Decode, Pressure, That's What You Get, and of course Brick by Boring Brick. Haley Williams wore tight leopard print pants and a black Minor Threat t-shirt. Mind-blowing!
