Good job by the players tonight. Henderson was excellent.

Utter bollocks that Manchester United won.

The only thing that our team needs to do is win as many of our remaining games as possible. United have a tough end to the season, which includes a visit to us, and just look at how we've managed to close the gap on them in the past few months.

Excellent win, very professional performance. Brendan really has got us working like an extremely well oiled machine, I thought burnley played very very well but they stood no chance against us. From 30 seconds in when sturridge forced a save from their keeper the result was never in doubt.

Fucking buzzing. Not onto checking other scores.

Took out foot off the gas and in cruise control in the second half. I thought they were there for the pumping. Frustrating when our lads go into 5 a side mode. How come we end up with 5 stood outside the box.

That's minor though and im proud of how far they have come that we can just brush teams like this aside in 2nd gear

We were brilliant. Get in! Was hoping mancs would draw but fuck them, we're gonna finish them at Anfield.

Just as PoP called it - 2-0. Incidentally, we scored on the 3rd shot on goal by my count.

Good win. All too easy, thought we might have really gone for them in the last 20 with goal difference in mind. Onwards redmen.

I think we've learned our lesson from last season. When the game is won, lock it down and take the points. If it comes down to goal difference at the end, so be it. But you can't risk the points going for goal difference all the time, especially near the end of a game. I think we'll see more measured performances like this one the longer we go. When the points are won, we stick them in the back pocket and start resting for the next game.

Goal for Sturridge, another clean sheets, no injuries, Hendo getting better and better. Got to be happy with that, so soon after a tiring couple of games.

You couldn't wish for more could you, great stuff. It's going to go to the wire for 3rd and 4th. I'm sure ỏi experience (the squad and the manager) will see us home.

2-0!
A very good performance. We owned the game from start to finish. Had it not been for a few good saves from Heaton, we'd have won with a bigger margin. Liked how we kept the ball for the last 30 mins. Looked almost effortless, so simple. But how many teams can do that? Great goal by Sturridge, from a likewise great ball from Henderson. I enjoyed this one. Can't wait for the next game!

The red machine marches on. Very good professional, efficient display from the team. They were very good. I thought our play deserved maybe a goal or two more from the chances we created but cannot argue with the team work rate and desire to press and win the ball. The goal from Hendo was class.

Just disappointing that we did not make up any ground up on lucky United. All you can do is win and take care of our business I guess and it will take care of itself. At least Everton lost which puts them in the think of the battle to go down. Which is always a great thing. Please let them go down

Solid performance. Never really had to get out of 3rd gear. Really pleased with a relatively easy win against a team that has shown they can mix it when they want to. Another couple of easy on the eye goals aswell.

Never in doubt tonight was it. This is the most pragmatic Liverpool side I've ever seen. This is the kind of thing that Benitez spent his entire tenure here trying to achieve. If we hadn't started so horribly we'd be looking at winning the title right now, rather than finishing in the top 4.

Daniel can only get better...
Wierd but there's now a part of me that enjoys watching us under the cosh or at least getting a defensive workout because I know we aren't gonna fold like origami. Scary thing is how much better would we be if PoP's point about defensive training in larger numbers i.e. working as a full compliment were implemented?!

I liked it. It was Chelsea style, get the lead and shut up shop. All the time saving energy too, which is crucial at this stage of the season. More better than opening up and giving me a heart attack when they pull one back.
