The Return Of The King - How do you feel?
« on: January 8, 2011, 11:37:45 am »
So, he's back. I can barely type this as I'm in fucking heaven right now, and my hands are shaking.

How do you feel?
Did you think you'd ever see the day when Kenny returned?
How do you think he'll do?
Where do you think we'll finish this season?

One thing's for sure, the feelgood factor is about to go through the fucking roof. The passion will be back! The ground will be bouncing! And whatever happens for the rest of the season, the club is united once more!!

Get the fuck in!!
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Ecstatic!

So many memories running around my head at the moment. I was beaming when Robbie came back a few years ago but this is something else.

Initial feeling is euphoria, the old man has gone and the King has returned. I am glad he gets the season too and we could yet salvage something from this.

First time Kenny will manage us in Europe too \0/

hm how do I feel. I really don't know how to describe it. I think the best description would be if I said

Aaaaalllll round the fields, of Anfield Road,
where once we watched the KING KENNY PLAY,
AND COULD HE PLAY  :D :D

Welcome back Kenny!!!
Thank you Stevie! It was a pleasure.

I'm made up .

Let's give him to the end of the season and see how it pans out . We can review the situation then .

It can't see how it could get any worse than it is now ( could it ? )  , so Kenny's in a win , win situation . If it doesn't go as hoped , well you can't lay al lthe blame at Kenny.

I'm actually on the verge of tears.

I'm going to the Everton game; it will be my first derby game in about 15 years.

Knowing the King will be in the dugout for that is absolutely unreal.

I can feel the excitement and enthusiasm that I last felt when Yossi socred away at Fulham in injury time and I thought we would win the league.

Anfield will be full and be deafening for his first home game, I suspect.

Grateful that Hodgson has decided to agree mutual termination, delighted Kenny has got off that boat and come back before Utd away, KD will not go down in my estimation at all whatever happens but the whole club has been given a lift this morning by his return

I actually did that when I heard the news. Then I felt a bit silly. Then I said 'fuck it' and double fist pumped again.

I remember feeling utterly miserable the day he resigned, I remember watching the telly as it was announced, I remember wondering what would happen next, never dreaming we'd still be waiting for No 19 even now.

Utterly ecstatic today, the king is back, someone who really, truly, most definitely "gets" what we're about is in charge, I couldn't be happier (in a football-related context :P ) - and to announce this the day before we play that lot up the road? Perfect.

The reds are coming up the hill, boys........
