Sad news that Dobie Gray has died from cancer aged 71. 'Out on the Floor' remains one of the most joyous and uplifting songs ever.

Another one sadly gone. He was one of those acts that continually hovered around in the background in the 60's and into the 70's, never quite becoming huge but a very good interpreter of songs. I remember this well and still love it...
