How do I put a gif into the main body of an email in outlook express?

I have the image saved to desktop but when I copy it over to the email it stays as an image and the image doesn't flash or move scenes if you know what I mean.

It may not show as moving, but could do so when it's received. Try sending it to yourself and see if it works.

Microsoft removed GIF support post Outlook 2003 and it's counterparts, but if you're sending it to a webmail account it should still animate even it it's not showing it happening in Outlook.

I found this instruction for Outlook Express

In Microsoft Outlook Express (the most common e-mail program) first start to write an e-mail, then go to the "Insert" menu and select "Picture." Then by "Picture Source," click on the "Browse" button. Find your desktop and the animation you wish to insert. Repeat for each image or animation you wish to add.

Probably been posted before but Seinfeld and Larry David seem to be a quality source for gifs. These usually make an appearance on RAWK around the 100th page of a transfer forum thread.
