Anyone who tries to get a 'stand up for the 96' song going, trying to capitalise on people's strong feelings for justice in order to get people to stand up so that they can too needs to be an offence worthy of being ejected from the ground (as a compromise as I'd rather not see it causing a fight)

Old player songs. I can kind of see the point of singing for example the Luis Garcia-song when we're playing Chelsea. However, I'd rather hear new songs or old tunes for our current players.

I've always thought the songs with the long verses should be left in the pub pre match and out of the ground. Likes of Poor Scouser Tommy, every other Saturday, red and white Kop etc. More short, snappy, loud chants that's what we need.

Nothing wrong with signing about Chelsea when we are playing Chelsea. It's different to the Mancs singing anti Scouse songs when the only scouser on the pitch is playing for them.

I'd be happy if the who are ya chant was banned for all eternity at Anfield it's cringe worthy as fuck and shouldn't be tolerated at Anfield imo.

Never heard this before you posted it. Had it stuck in my head ever since. It's brilliant. As a country we're generally shite at singing properly these days compared to the Celtic nations. I mean in time and in tune whilst still passionate. Cheers for letting me on to this.
