Sound, anything else to it or is it just find a stream and go now?
Any settings need changing?
I haven't had any problems using it before, and given the speed you have I doubt you'll have any yourself mate. The only thing sometimes is that it can take a while to buffer, but normally it starts quite quickly.
Should you have any, there are tutorials et al that could work. This has been mentioned earlier (iirc):
Buffer problems:
1) In the settings you need to set the TS maximum upload speed to the maximum, leave the value "0" (default).
2) In the setting of TS increase buffer Live 2-3 times (20-30 seconds) or more.
3) Then, increase number of peers in 2 times. Maximum number of connections - 400, the maximum number of connections to the stream - 100.
4) If your computer is connected through a router, you must open port 8621.
5) Also, the router to enable UPnP, if it is off.

Next Setting up the settings in vlc to make it 50i and look better
check pic and make sure deinterlace is set to on
http://postimg.org/image/gvjtud47r i used vlc normal player to do this but will be the same
in acestream player as its a modded version of vlc player

http://postimg.org/image/5jupg77vlIf you have white screen problems use one of these settings
http://postimg.org/image/msy6jemdx I recommend directdraw/direct3d
One last thing the live buffer sometimes when you join the stream you will be behind live action
which will give you a yellow bar give it 4mins and click on the live button
And it should turn to green If your connection is good to the peers you should have live buffer for most
of the stream if not hoover over the bar it will tell you how many mins/sec's you're behind the action
Video on settings:

Playing acestream xbmc/other media centers:
http://postimg.org/image/hkycdoxdp/Enter this line of code to the "default output chain":
#duplicate{dst="http{mux=ts,dst=:8902/tv.asf}",dst=display}
It will pass all video's played on the AceStream / TS player to
http://localhost:8902/tv.asf.
To play using your media center:
- write down the internal IP number of the PC that is running the ts player
- open the
http://INTERNAL_IP:8902/tv.asf url on your media center
