Sounds like from what Jurgen is saying they are being cautious with Konate but he trained fully yesterday

That’s the point for me, we have to be cautious because France weren’t in a meaningless friendly and stuck him straight into 90mins.

Due to his injury record that was always likely to be the case anyway.

Danns crept back in there quietly. Will he get game time ahead of Gakpo today?

Hopefully. Gakpo just isn’t someone you bring on if you’re wanting to inject pace and energy in the team. Would much rather Gakpo started and have Diaz as a game changer on the bench rather than the other way round

Sneaky rotation?
Brighton: Virg/Quansah
Sheffield U: Quansah/Ibou
Utd: Virg/Ibou
Really thought Martin Kelly would make it.

Thats likely. Its a 7:30 KO on Thursday, so its not enough recovery time between the Sheff Utd game and the Mancs, so we're going to have to manage minutes for all the squad

We shouldnt take Sheff Utd lightly. Huge chance to up our goal difference there, which will be especially important should Arsenal win today.

No but it’s an internet forum Sam, we are allowed to have emotions and opinions.

We’re going into a run which will decide if Klopps final season here is immortal or not, I make no apologies for wanting to win the league again over the cheats, for that we need every player fighting fit.

Chill the fuck out everyone, if we can't beat Brighton at home without Konate we don't deserve to win the league anyway.

no issue with you, I have issue with people giving other fans shit for wanting what’s best for our club. Especially over utterly meaningless international games.

Yeah you're right, me pointing out a complete overreaction on some (not even you if you'd actually read my posts properly) fans part over one player missing in a game we should win with or without him means I don't want the best for the club. Dear fucking me.

Find a wall to punch, then come back for kickoff and support the 11 on the pitch.  Same goes for most of the seethers in here.

Got 3 matches in a week, Konate will have plenty of time to play, main thing is for all the players is not to start slowly and cut out the silly mistakes. Brighton have been up and down so no need to give them a confidence boost.

Suspect Brighton will come out very fast and aggressive.

Need the boys to show some composure and take it from there.

Nope doesn’t mean they aren’t though, Klopp hates them, with good right.

Anyway, Quansah is immense so I’d rather enjoy the players fit.

Precisely, hit them like a sledgehammer from the start and get them doubting themselves from minute one. Their away form is rotten, time to get this done. Come on you redmen!

International football will always be an issue, there are worst things on the horizons. I saw a tweet saying within the next 8 to 10 years Premier League games will be kicking off in the States. They are selling off the game under the fans feet as we speak, that's something which should be more concerning.
