Barca don't look like scoring. Sanchez useless as ever.

They should buy Andy Carroll for £40m.

Yet another game where things arent going Barca`s way, and Iniesta is anonymous.

  • Super Title: This is super!
You could say they're not being allowed to play tonight.

Bayern München will tire tho'.

You mean there's a second half?  Complicated shit this football lark. I thought it was all over at half time...

Next thing you'll be telling me there's another game and Barcelona will have home advantage!...

It would be an absolute shame if this Bayern side fails to win yet another CL trophy if they qualify to the finals. It would be worse than Juve going to three straight finals and only winning once, or Valencia going to the final two successive years and losing on both.
Yeah, their 5th has been long overdue. Definitely deserve to win it.

  • At the End of a Storm there's a Golden Sky.
Messi's not fit. Nowhere near either.

Can see a 2 or 3 nil Bayern Win.

I don't see that. I think he is close to fully fit but Bayern are shutting him down extremely quickly and the Barca passing is slow maybe because of the pitch.

Just seen some replays of how wet the centre of the pitch is, pretty much standing water stopping the passes - who thinks that was done on purpose?!

They're one strike down after the first quarter. Lots of time left yet for offensive play by the away troop.

Their technical advisor Sam Allardicé came up with the idea.

I do. Nothing new though. Mourinho letting the grass grow long with Chelsea to slow down the pitch, Milan destroying the flanks of the pitch because they play through the centre etc etc

Well, well, well!

Barca desperately need a goal today. If they don't get one then Bayern will make the final.

Was wondering whether he was offside. Possibly, just marginally.

Still, they should've had a penalty before now, so it's not like Barca have been hard done by.

Mario Gomez with a typical poacher goal. That looked offside for me judging from the replays. Anyway, 2-0 Bayern.

Bayern have been pretty damn good. I know Madrid have beaten them recently but I cannot remember the last time anyone has controlled Barcelona in that way.
Real controlled them twice this season, PSG did it in the first half of their 2nd leg as did Milan in the 1st leg at the San Siro. Its been a pretty long blip. If you call cantering to a league title and playing in a champions league semi final a blip, but you know what I mean.

Clear offside, the first goal was a discussable foul from Dante as well... well, you know where Hoeness taxfree money for...
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Bayern are owed atleast a penalty so if it was offside then that's a little bit of justice. I did think that the ball was played square though so it doesn't count?

Love Gomez though

Bayern look like a much better team so far and deserve lead.

Weird way of looking at things. Sounds like something I've seen posted on Redcafe.

But if we are talking about being ''owed'' decisions - We must have a fucking lifetime of them to cash in.

The decision to play Messi at his current state reminds me when Brazil played Ronaldo at the 1998 WC final, it hindered the team to be honest.
