Goes without saying the tie of the round is Real/,mancs.It`s a pity all of this politics has been going on at Real. With that i feel united have a real chance to turn them over.
That right peg hits it and you see the future arc of the ball and time goes al gluey like a Dali painting, and for a second there's a 20yr old StevenGerrard and your young self cheering him on through the prism. His big smile fades in an the net is shivering and J.Hart's trying not to look grateful for the privilege of being that close to greatness

gotta feeling you're right, RM seem all over the place these days with their (maureen/player) stupid politics messing with their game

can't see Arsenal doing Bayern tho, they've improved over last and I think they're worth a decent shout for the final

Bayern, Juve, Schalke, Barca, Malaga (I hope!!), Man Utd,  Shakhtar, PSG - my picks to go through. If Casillas is out then Real will struggle, in my opinion. I hope not, though

I see the fan power of Man Utd have forced Real Madrid to give them a higher allocation of tickets for their game. Apparently no other club could do that but Man Utd!

I'm scared of Arsenal v Bayern  :-[

Real will win the home tie against Man Utd and it'll all be decided at Old Trafford in the 2nd leg. Barca and Milan will be mighty interesting  ;D

If Real play like last night, they'd walk all over the Mancs, the problem is, you don't which Madrid side will come out.

First match is at home so it'll be a side like yesterday that'll turn up. The away side of Real is always curious as they are so inconsistent.

That seems generous until you remember that all they have is a few bibs and jumpers for goalposts. It would also be pretty embarrassing for Rangers if one of the juve players asked for a coin to decide the kick off.

What's the reason behind the week difference rather than half on Tuesday an half on Wednesday?

Or even splitting it further so it's 4 on Tuesday 4 on Wednesday?

Worried arsenal could pull off an upset here, although we do need coefficient points badly

Think Pogba v Wanyama in the middle could be a good battle.  We rested everyone yesterday who is likely to start against Juve with the exception of Forster who needed to play as he has been injured.  We needed him to shake off the rustiness before Tuesday.

Izzy will apparently be fit for this.  Sammy is still a doubt.  Forrest is expected to make it.

Lenny has quite a few decisions to make.  Adam Matthews has recently been playing as a RWB  and just in front of Lustig.  This gives Lustig excellent protection as well as giving our attack more support.  This makes our right side very strong.   On the other hand Forrest is far more effective on the RW than the left and does do his defensive duties well.    The problem for me is Izzy.  Although he is going to be fit enough, he just hasn't been at the races this season.  Matthews is in much better form, is capable of playing LB if required and indeed did so excellently against Barcalona.

Only saw it today but Bayern have only conceded 7 goals all season.

13/2 for the competition and with an extra hunger after missing out last year.

15 points clear aswell in the league

7 goals all season. Holy fuck.

I think those 7 are just from league games, though? It's an impressive feat, but it probably says more about the quality of the Bundesliga than anything else.

If we're just looking at goals conceded in the CL group stages [and bearing in mind they had a pretty "easy" group with Lille, BATE and Valencia, it paints a different story:
Quote
Real have conceded 9
Shakhtar, Celtic and Arsenal have conceded 8
Bayern have conceded 7
Schalke, United, Gala and Milan have conceded 6
Valencia, Malaga, Barca and BvB have conceded 5
Porto and Juve have conceded 4
PSG have conceded 3
