Great to see a national paper showing some impartiality and interest in the facts.

Thanks!
I can confirm that on this subject at least, there is an almost cultish obsession, which I find quite unnerving.

Great work by the people of the Guardian. They made it a bit more understandable the last few days of what was going on.

I've had that blod page from the Guardian open for the last few days, fair play to them.

They appreciate this thread, too.

2.18pm: There's a very nice thread running on the RedAndWhiteKop website: Thank you Guardian. Well, thank you to all who have read/commented/emailed/tweeted/contributed to this blog.

...and they link to this thread. Aw.

Agree with that, Guardian has been most excellent this week. The Live updates and etc, all brilliant with a touch of humour! Their piece on Hicks yesterday was also pretty good.

Steve Busfield emailed me last night - said they've had over a million hits which is phenomonal.  Their coverage has been insightful and very timely. From texting news straight out of the court room to cross reporting from other News reporters, I think you'll agree when I say that their work has been nothing short of superb!

Thanks Guardian.

Very balanced and up to date coverage as well.

Quite entertaining and funny in parts, especially the PDF of Hicks' petition.  That was so amateur, it was a laugh riot.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

I have spent most of the past few days flicking between Twitter and the Guardian. Guardian been excellent.
Yes my daily perusal of The Grauniad has been most informative in this regard.  Is this Twitter you mention available at newstands also? I like to keep abreast of the latest developments.
The clique is just a click away.
And they are being watched too, but don't know it.
