Without trying to sound like the proverbial smart ar$e....................this can't be done at the kind of prices being taken. I'm sure you will all have seen similar efforts on the likes of the Betfair forums and other betting forum sites. Those who get near the target have very different strategies to those seen here so far.
Been there, done that, getting older, bordering on part timer status. So sad but that's life.

Much shorter prices for a start. You're going to need a fair few winners to get there either way. I do a lot of in play bets on football, cricket and horse racing....................and one or two other sports when available. It'll take a while to get there but it's a marathon and not a sprint.

I presume you have missed the point of this thread mate?

The idea is 7 bets of even money from a tenner.

You don't seem to get a lot of sympathy on here do you? Regardless of the fact that I missed the evens or better statement it should have been a winning bet. Sometimes you get unlucky on the NHT with the red card and later when I thought Klose would replace Olic but they took off Robben instead. As well as it being bet 1 on here it was also bet 78 on another 'system' I had running elsewhere. I always take profit along the way on these types of rolling accumulators so that when the inevitable loser comes it doesn't cost anything other than the run itself coming to an end. I bet at the shorter end of the market and have runs going in the 1+ goals, correct score laying and a bit of a mixed market in play 'system', all with regular success. You have to take the odd losing bet on the chin and build up again. It was hard to take when I had a run end recently on bet 296 { I was after the 350 record } but you carry on.

No real comment on the above individual remarks, just to say I hope someone does manage to do it.

No offence mate but £10 @ 1.03 is crazy. 30p profit. I worked in a bookies for a long while and frankly if someone had tried to place that bet with me I would have taken the 30p out my pocket and chucked it at him.

Whatever floats your boat. I suppose I should stick to posting on the other betting forums I use where people are not lambasted as much. We all have losing bets now and then. I'm just a little surprised by the negative reaction.

It's not negative mate it was just funny how the whole thing happened. Don't take it to heart we all have different ways of doing things and no one particular system can claim to be better than any other. Good luck with the next series of bets.

Ha im sure your great and have won loads of money over the years.Fantastic.Whats funny about this is that you came in with the whole "Oh youll never get it done this way,the way I do it is this and so on"..And just the bet itself which you put on..Was just funny. No need to be so sensitive.

Haven't mentioned a word about winning fortunes, it's not my style. I'm more of a 'numbers' player in trying to set records or beat old ones. Just trying to add words of warning and advice borne out of years of experience, but it was a wasted effort. Not helped by a losing bet obviously but I find it unusual to be taken apart as above.

Ah it's a just a bit of a laugh mate, it does happen - it was inevitable after you put that bet up! Join in with this scheme - it's only a tenner and gets you looking for some cracking value bets. I don't know if you could realistically ever get to £1000 but it's good fun having a research and that.
