3 - Liverpool win two corners in a row and the Stoke defenders are all over Carroll and Coates like a two dollar whore on Rooney. Apparently someone "fouled" a Stoke player and the ref gives them a free kick.....

7 - Liverpool win a throw as Sorensen runs out of his area and kicks the ball away. Agger does a Delap and wastes a few minutes wiping the ball.......throws it straight at the keeper....worth a try I spose.

9 - Suarez knocks the ball down to Carroll who runs towards the goal and fires.......Sorensen saves but the ball goes straight to Suarez......fires miles miles wide at a pretty much open goal. Was a hard chance, but a chance nonetheless.

10 - Stoke win a throw in near the box. Delap wastes around 3.5 minutes wiping the ball down and eventually throws it into the box......Liverpool manage to get a head to the ball, but eventually it comes to a Stoke player 15 yards away from the goal.....shoots miles wide......very close chance.

12 - Liverpool has a bit of possession, but Kelly misplaces a pass and loses it. Kelly (with some very good pace and determination) runs back and wins the ball. Kelly has turned out to be a very good RB.

16 - Henderson manages to break down the right with Carroll and Suarez in the middle and one Stoke defender (others running on). Hendo tries to put a cross in to the far post, but Carroll is not that tall and misses the ball.

16 - Agger has the ball on the left and puts the ball into Maxi who dinks it over the defence to Lucas who squares it into Suarez.......fires right at the keeper. Good save.

21 - Carra is too slow getting to the ball and slides in and totally misses the ball......the ball goes past him, but he sticks his arm out and drags the ball with him.....yellow. What on Earth was he doing. Stoke now have a free kick outside left to the goal.

We have played quite well so far, but, for some reason, I have a bad feeling about this match. Carroll misses another chance. We should be 3 up by now - tail of Liverpool FC this season.
