I hate the myth that the top clubs get all the decisions. The Manchester clubs certainly do, we don't.

The way we're reffed is ridiculous.

So what we just let him go on a free then?

We will move him on even if it’s on loan.

No I didn't say anything about leaving on a free but clearly we are not going to sell now as their won't be a market for him and importantly not at prices we would accept.

Not sure he will go out on loan personally.

Been reading a few things about him from the Dutch media and they are saying that he's very like Guardiola.

Fuck that having someone like that c*nt here.

He openly says he moulds himself on Pep and that there is no team in the world he would rather watch than Manchester City.

Sure he is smart enough to adapt those comments slightly if he comes though.  ;D

Personally don't have a problem with that though, if his aim is to play football that smashes every team apart. Although I guess all managers want the same, it's whether or not they have the talent to do it.

Guimaraes. Dont get me wrong, he is good, but we dont need that type of midfielder in the side certainly when you factor in how much money he would cost.

He's not worth £100mil, he'd be a slight improvement over our current midfielders, we missed the boat not signing him when Newcastle did. He's also not a 6, we need a younger version of Endo/Fabinho.

Arsene Wenger was recruited by David Dein from Japan...He had win one league title in France with Monaco in his 1st season, but was unremarkable for years in France. But Dein new what type of manager he wanted and brought him back to Europe.

The men we pay big money to make these decisions have decided that Slot is the best fit for the club. I will be optimistic and will not prejudge because he is not flashy or well known by journos.

I watched a documentary on Prime on Arsene Wenger which was really good and you're right about the fact that no one knew anything about him at all, when he first arrived. This is the problem with a lot of stuff you see on places like youtube. people can make anyone seem totally fantastic, but it only tells you so much. Which is why we have no choice other than to trust the system that's in place.

Thats the thing isn't it Andy, you go off one one and it'll be "wind yer neck in dickhead" and other comments or Capon ripping the piss with his genius, but for a lot of the ones who are being moaned about, from day 1 its been utter drivel and they never post anything worth reading.

There was a fella on here from Norway username Kaiser, got banned from here, got banned from everywhere else, rocked up on OnTheKop and managed to kill the site. People just got fucked off with him so much they just walked away.

There's been so many good posters driven away by the nonsense over the past few years, Welshred for one, a qualified physio and he got sick of no marks with no knowledge of anything questioning him when he replied to posts about injuries, the most famous one being "Virg must be ok, he walked off the pitch" after T-Rex did his knee.

Phase of Play another.  Im too new to remember Kaiser. I  do of course remember Lobo who was never over critical of the team but he was a bullying pick Yet there were people who would revel in Lobo's posts. Things are not black and white
some of my favourite posters are fallout shelter regulars, however  I dislike this thread and the sneering with lack of accountability.

I dunno what what the mods would think if we had a 'what do you want from RAWK' type thread.

The forum is already on a slippery slope due to the unrestrained "venting" that you want to defend. Venting is never funny, insightful and adds nothing to the forum; it's just an excuse to throw shit at our players, our manager, our coaches, our physios, our ownership and on and on...  Defend toxic posters all you like, inventing spurious numbers to your argument only weakness it.

Personally after a game I'd expect my posts can be overly critical but by the next day I'm back to just posting none offensive nonesense.

My view is if someone praises when it's good but is critical when it's bad I don't really see the problem, what I don't agree with is agendas and constant negativity, must be a sad life to only care about misery.

I have also stopped putting footballers and managers on a pedestal, they earn far too much money, aslong as it doesn't cross a line then a bit of criticism should be more than fine.

And a different method for recovery, we might not have as many injuries

Whoever comes in, we should be looking at this anyway.

so much recency bias, before injury he was one of our best players. need to find a better role for him and also consider what midfield three he best works in.
