In case anybody was wondering, Alan Rickman's first actual speaking part was, I believe, "Smiley's People", where he plays a hotel receptionist. But as has been said his first major role was Die Hard.

Boss actor who had that sort of nasaly quite snobby, but not too much - tone to his delivery that added an air of sinister and dry humour, all in one.

A very heartfelt RIP to Alan Rickman.

Haha Weirdly my spellcheck on my S6 brings up people's usernames off here and Alan_X actually came up as the first option when I was typing it out
