So happy for him, deserves a proper chance now in the remaining matches. Definitely needs season without injuries; reckon he could be more than useful for us.

Delighted for him.

A very nice take and finish too: right foot to left foot and just poked home, pure instinct and a real strikers goal. Before hie got injured his movement impressed me, he should rightly take a lot of confidence from today and kick on from here.

Nice finish, good play, proper class cameo that.

Really like this lad, always have rated him and I'm sure he'll succeed. You could see what the goal meant to him. Lots of hunger in this lad.

A clinical striker to pounce on balls in the box is exactly what we need as an option. I feel if he was fit all season he would have got a few from the bench. He hasn't really missed too many chances, just his only run of games was at the start of the season when we were shite.

Many people seem confident that he will be featuring immediately but I can't see him being used as anything more than a late sub in the remaining games. I'm guessing he'll need a few weeks of training before he gets a start.

Some players you just instantly warm to and for me he's one of those. But beyond that I think we have a talented, hungry player with a lot to prove and he appears to have the intelligence to fit into the system, can play anywhere across the front 3.

It's important for the club to tell Borini stop with biting his hand when scoring, FA will ban him for 10 games to. :(

On a serious note, you can see the headlines now after he scores the winner against Newcastle.

'THAT'S FOR CHEWY! Borini mocks FA in winning goal celebration shocker!!'

You know what the saddest part is? I can see that actually happening!! (not Borini scoring so much though ::) )

Unfortunately the most unbelievable part  ;D

You say 'on a serious note' then mention Borini scoring a goal.

Please.

Delighted for Fabio.

Originally had to settle into life at Liverpool in a struggling team, and was also restricted to playing on the wing.

That first goal will be vital for his confidence and is certainly deserved. Hopefully he can do his best to impress during Luis' absence.

Good finish, happy that he's back. Should do his confidence the world of good. Whopper Waddle on ESPN wouldn't stop going on about how it was a toe-poke. Fucking hell, it was but it was actually a very appropriate, controlled finish. I can't listen to most English commentary these days without it pissing me off.

Toe poke is a skill if controlled properly - can provide addition power when there is little back lift. Never understood criticism of this.

So happy for him! Was a lovely finish and decent movement too.

I've liked him from the start, seems to have so much passion and hunger as you could see from his celebration. ;D

Hope he can get a few more run outs before the end of the season and he can kick on next year now. People seem to forget how young he is, he only just turned 22 last month, got a lot to offer us has Fab.
