Anyone else clock that Jesus lookalike getting in a scrap with a steward before half time?

Yeah, he was the one I saw, sounded like someone had said something to him that he didn't appreciate and he kicked off. At one point he was trying to square up to about four police officers!
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

He was in a scrap with another fan. The stewards broke it up. He was calling the other lad a c*nt and all sorts - looked to me like he thought he'd been insulted or something.

Was in a1 today decent atmosphere to be fair, some absolute miserable pricks near me though didn't say/sing anything up until 85th minute where they finally chirped up with "fucking shite" and walked out, sooner we get rid of those the better

We were near the goal today. Was OK early on but few sang in the second half.

Will be interesting to see/hear if there are enough there on Tues to make ANY noise, given most of the ones singing aren't going....

Was up in a3 and it was pretty decent. More singing first half then second. Was right next to the West Brom fans, they're such a small time club. Celebrating a 0-0 like that, Pulis is working his 'magic'.

Good atmosphere today, particularly at the back of the stand.

Yep , we were near the back , decent enough considering how bruised we were all feeling from last week

Was it as good as people are suggesting? Was better than Arsenal but the concourse was quiet and our end soon died down when it became apparent we weren't scoring (on about 15). When you think back to even Southampton and Palace in the cup just a couple of months back it was totally different.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

I would say Palace in the cup was the best away this season.

Not a sound heard all game from that away "support" tonight.

Good.

Shows exactly what happens when the regulars and hardcore stay away.

Hmm, let's not make things up here. The Coutinho song and Fields Of Anfield Rd were clearly and loudly audible around the 30 min mark, after that there was nothing much at all to sing about anyway.

The lad who got his hair pulled at WBA is a mate and is a regular home/away match goer. Some lads gave him some abuse as he has long hair and were winding him up then started to pull his hair hence why it kicked off.

Was pretty good today all things considered - we could easily have given up but the majority sang all game and it was good to see a few of the younger generation giving Chelsea absolutely no respect.

Wasn't helped by the Courtfields closing at half 2.

Fuck was that about? Good old British customer service at its finest..fill a pub with willing purchasers and opportunity to make a profit..close it at the peak... Was a lot cheaper mind to go buy cans over the road and drink them outside
Was a kinda resigned atmosphere in the air before and during the game
Lots of sitting down..far too many half scarfs..but pretty together in singing given that ..a lot of unused seats..beer at half time one of the easiest I've ever remembered
Was a little shocked at their clapping Gerrard off..tiny moment of class in decades long oceans of bellendery

Was in the Prince of Teck before and it felt like a wake. Bell rung at 2.30 so we just walked to the ground and got a couple of beers inside. Flat beforehand but half time in the Lower bar was mental. All in all a good away that.

Was good yesterday, apart from the bizzies and stewards nailing a bloke at HT just after I got a bevvie. Sang for pretty much the whole match, roll on Stoke.

Apparently he got a couple of bevvies...but didn't pay. Don't know if to believe that or not though as it seemed a bit heay handed if that was all he did.

Was ok down in the corner by the East stand. I haven't been to Stamford Bridge since the early 90s when the Shed End was completely uncovered. Amazing what a few roubles can do.

Chatted with a couple of decent stewards, one an Arsenal fan , both very gracious about our disappointing season. My 8 yr old very proudly told his mum when we got home ' everyone was hugging me when Gerrard scored 😄'

Love the old Scouse away regulars and how they look out for the kids

I bet some of the "real" match goers will be saying to themselves "The real sending-off will be given by us at Stoke''   ;)

Can't disagree with that either, in a good way of course.

Was in the Upper, saw one guy having a proper go at another in our end, I think it was fact he was smashed and the other fella had a half & half scarf on, so he gave him a right ear bashing.

Everyone infront of us were sitting down so we stayed standing up so soon after everyone got up. They definitely werent regulars but tbf least they sang along with songs they knew.

We moved further on to the left towards Chelsea fans, and steward threatened to kick me out for putting up dbts stickers on all the seats around me. I wasnt impressed to say the least  ;D
