Start of October I think
Cheers swoopy I'll keep an eye in here so.

There's no possibility the city game could be on new years eve is There?  it's a Saturday that's the reason why I'm asking.  Never been fixtures on NYE as far as I know.

  • not a mod. At all. Like ever. And certainly not on the ticket board that's for sure. Not for want of trying. Can't spell Irmingham either.

There's fixtures scheduled for 2nd Jan which is the reason there is NYE Fixtures.

If our games moves from 31st Dec then maybe the one on 2nd Jan will move too

But as it stands, we are playing on the 31st Dec

OK sound mate, what you think the chances are of it being moved?

The last time there was a round of fixtures on the 31st was 11/12. We haven't played on that date since 05/06. It's a Saturday this year though so they might stay the same.

Liverpool v Man City...prime for a Friday night game!!!

That would be better. Crap for people getting back after a NYE game

Could do with knowing too - mist get some tickets for something once I know

It will rule me out if it's on NYE. Might be my only chance to get over too.

As soon as the fixtures were released I predicted the fuckers will move that to 5:30 on NYE. It would be a twat of a KO time.

Anybody think the West Ham game on the 10th of December could be moved to Friday night? Found a kick ass flight from Iceland on the Friday and back on Tuesday. Really cheap. Wouldn't matter if the game was Saturday, Sunday or Monday night then. But Friday night would kill me.

Won't be Monday, we play Boro away on the Wed - full League programme Tues and Wed. And West Ham play Tues 13th, so Sunday unlikely too unless they move that  :-\

I see. The fear is that it would be a Friday night game. I'd be landing at 16:35 in Liverpool on the Friday afternoon and fly back on the Tuesday. Considering the midweek fixtures it' safe to say the game won't be on a Sunday or a Monday (unless they move the West Ham's Tuesday fixture as you say). Of course if it was at 19:45 on Friday night I'd probably make it but I'd rather not go through that headache. But in all likelyhood the game will be played at some time on the Saturday.

The flights I found are so cheap I'm actually considering buying a hospitality ticket so I'd be guaranteed to get a ticket to the game.

Thats plenty of time to make it to Anfield for an 8pm kick-off, even if you're going via town to check-in at a hotel. It would only start to get tricky if you hadn't landed by 6.30pm.

Done that trip from the airport lots going into the hotel checking in and then making my way to the soccer bus always there in plenty of time

So the Derby won't be a Friday night and the Brenford v Norwiich game seems to indicate us & City won't be 5:30 NYE.

I'm assuming Sky wouldn't show a Championship & PL game at the same time or am I wrong and it occurs regularly  :-\

Aye it happens regularly these days. Since BT started showing the 5.30pm Saturday premier league game this season, Sky have been showing a championship game at the same time.

5.30 kick off please, already got my tickets for City and got an offer of a ticket for the Old Firm game 12.15 ko so just enough time to hot foot it down the motorway, dump the car, stuff City and out on the town straight after, sounds like a plan.

Fri please!!

Just seems so stupid to have a full programme on 31st Dec, even at 3pm when so many will struggle to get home. And you just know once will be moved to later on. Just shuldn't be allowed. All at 12.30 would be better  :-\

I don't think there's a usual time they release them. Don't be banking on them announcing it on Wednesday, it wouldn't be the first time they've been due and the day comes and goes with no announcement.

Sadly this is the case - people from premier league and the tv companies dont consider for one minute the fans and arrangements they are trying to make
