Oliver is a clown and should be nowhere near the Prem.
His hair product means he will succeed Clattenburg as the top ref.
After midweeks showing how is anywhere near a premier league game is outrageous.

we should have a penalty on Wijnaldum....

poor referee...

we are still in game...i expect more from Firmino though :/

Did any of our players even appeal for it though? I didn't see anyone put their hand up for it, which I find bizarre. We need to get a bit smarter there, everyone else does it.

Another shit stream for this one. Constantly buffering. Could have had goals either end. A few players need to liven up in our attack as well. City's heads could drop if they go a goal behind so we need to definitely score first if we want to get anything out of this.

Excellent corner on 27 mins by Coutinho
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

This ref is a c*nt. Booking our players for nothing fouls then letting their players get away with everything. How the fuck didn't we get a penalty. They've had a few great chances too. Their wingers are causing us big trouble

Riding our luck. Need to put more pressure on Toure I think they will tire as the game goes on.

Mane was unlucky, it was accidental but still stopped him scoring, needed to get a bit further across.

Toure is lucky to be on the pitch after that high foot.

How was that not a pen for Mane? Also, the ref is fucking shite- so one sided in his bookings for us and not giving them any. Otamendi, Fernandinho and De Bruyne should have been booked for them and Toure should be off

Agree on the rest but no way was that a penalty. He kicked Otamendi with his backswing.

And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

BLATANT penalty and red card not given. ARRRGGHHH.

For the challenge on Sterling? Defo wasn't a peno for Mane.

Got better as the half went on, hopefully they will tire having played midweek.

Can we please stop allowing players to ghost in at our back post unmarked?!

Sterling and Fernandinho on a couple of occasions.

Otherwise playing really well and unlucky not to score.

Probably if we get a good left back

Oliver adds a random element to any game, booking Firmino for a fine tackle in which he clearly won the ball is just one example.

Good to see Raheem still hasn't mastered the basics of the offside rule, nor putting away easy chances.

Coutinho's been pretty poor yet again.

It's a very open game to be honest. It could have been 1-0 to them or 1-0 to us.

I'm still confident we can nick this one but we need to be more solid at the back. Sane and Silva in particular are very dangerous.

Come on you Redmen !!!!!!

I'm sicked and tired of us being a "good" team. Fucking hell, can you imagine if Herrera got booted like Can did? He would have made a fucking meal out of it and rightly so. Straight fucking red, that said Oliver is a soft c*nt, it happened right in front of his eyes. Not to mention two penalty calls which went unnoticed. Fucking hate city fans they're bunch of... We can win this. Come on redmen!

Exactly, Herrera is a little weasel, but he gets what he wants by acting like that. If the referee isn't 100% sure what decision to take, it helps if you at least make some noise and try and win the decision.

Coutinho non existant

Milner doing the best he can to prevent Sterling.

Should have been a red for Toure and a penalty for us.

Like Oliver as a ref, but one City snide got Matip booked with a laughable overreaction, and Fernandinho somehow escaped one.

Playing some good stuff, should have had a pen (but it's an easy one for Oliver to miss, and they had one declined too), but their long diagonals to their wingers are causing us problems. Sane is dangerous, but doesn't track back.

Chances both ends and unusually good defending from both sides. I thought Oliver would at least award one of the two decent penalty shouts. Still we've come into the game nicely and got our rhythm back.

Fernandinio is indeed playing RB.

Just beacuse Neville said so? I bet you he would have given it happened it the other way around.

Doing well last 20, git to watch those 1-2's on the flanks and how the fuck didn't Sterling score there, hats off to Milner.

Hardly, how on earth has Sterling got a run on him so far ahead. That's their big tactic, quick move down the flanks and hit across the goal. We don't seem to have an answer for it.

Can is putting out fires all over the midfield at the moment, had a really good half.  The Mane one wasn't a pen, he kicked Otamendi but Toure would've been off had Can made a huge meal of it, he did him a real favour there.

City should've had a pen for Milner on Sterling but fuck him who cares.

Exciting half, both should have scored at least once. Michael Oliver though, completely incompetent once again - how was that not a pen and a red card when Otamendi fouled Mane?

looking a bit sloppy at times, Coutinho's been poor (his form is worrying) and Klavan awful. Pleased to see Can and Migs playing really well though. We've got enough to beat them in the 2nd half
