Communistworkethic: Yes - robots, cyborg players. That'd shit a few up at contract talks - "You want £50k a week?, Sorry we're letting you go, we're replacing you with Data from Star Trek the Next Generation, he only wants 2 HP11 batteries and a pint of oil."

Hahahahahahahaha. Quality.

P.S. I fucking hate Bolton. Decent piece though.

Good read that, a few more people talking shit this time round though, particularly about Benitez - moans too much when he's losing?
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

I know Mark... Coming from a set of fans who's manager wouldn't shut-up after a red card incident (?) earlier in the season... Even after Sky showed him the footage to prove him wrong.

God, I can't stand that fat headded gobshite.

Likewise. I still remember him going on about how dirty we were in the game at the Reebok and wondering if we were watching the same game. Sissoko's challenge was naughty but it was on Diouf. The Gerrard thing was pure nonsense as Nolan himself said after the game, and they persisted in kicking us off the park for 90 minutes.

And our manager is the one who moans too much? Nah, sorry.

Some good answers in there, but some fucking stupid ones as well.

I suppose it's not worthwhile pointing out that a lot of the answers are tongue in cheek? :-\

I don't think the ones I'm referring to are :wave

I seriously doubt that and I'm not sure all the slightly irritating answers about Benitez are indeed tongue in cheek.

Generally a good read :wave. I agree with them about Ricardo Gardner as an outstanding player for them. Concerning their ideas that they will beat us I'll stick with Elli's "that should be a safe 3 points for you" and say we win. ;)

Good read that,it is a grudge match ,it was Bolton who gave Rafa his first taste of what to expect in playing away from Anfield during last seasons undeserved defeat at the Reebok, add that prick Diouf to the equation, the fact they have been a bit of a bogey team for us over the last few years, and that their fathead manger usually talks out his ass when commenting on LFC I really do hope we twat em sunday afternoon ;)

assisting in the execution of King Charles

Let's not forget why Bolton was considered a particularly safe place to keep the (former) tyrant.

After the massacre of half the population by Prince Rupert's butchers in 1644  the place wan't exactly safe territory for any Royalists who might have schemed his release.

You see Boltonians know how to hold a grudge. Alan Green has to watch his back round there these days because he criticised the direct  Fathead Roundhead  style of Footy & Rafa did work for 'Real' so they think he's a Royalist.

The traffic wardens are classic Boltonian Puritan zealots - direct tactics get best results they reckon -  and if the  Royalists hadn't massacred so many Puritans in 1644 that teenage pregnancy rate would probably be a lot more respectable .... in both cities :D

Thought that myself. There doesn't seem to be much humour in Bolton these days. Mind you watching the shite Bolton produce week in week out must be enough to make anyone miserable. Just our tough luck we found a gaggle of them in one go.
How can anyone seriously suggest that Rafa whinges after a defeat.

Dunno, but  he did after the Reebok draw, unfortunately .

Hence the rattled cages above.

It's about the only time he's lost his some of dignity really, so in a way it's the exception that re-iterates how gracious he usually is.

I don't really consider that a whinge and I'm surprised that anyone in Bolton, hearing their manager continually prattling on, wouldn't consider it the status quo (and I like it, I like, I like it, oops sorry, got carried away) :D

Oh sure, agreed, I seem to remember  the Guardian report of that match got it right that we were dragged down to their level & so was Rafa to some extent.

Gravedigger: Bit of a Wengerist who moans when losing. He's become more cheerful over the last couple of months but not the kind of guy I'd buy a second hand motor from.

seriously hope that comment was a piss take, cant say ive heard rafa moaning after our defeats

Don't worry, my footballing friends, there is many a Bolton fan who'd like Mr Allardyce to shut his mouth before the chewing gum takes over from his brain. A good manager he undoubtedly is but his continual haranguing makes some of us cringe.

On present form you should cream us on the weekend, but at some time or other we surely have to come out of our form slump (if you can call it that). I sincerely hope that it will be a fair and well fought contest, though at Anfield I will be more than happy if we both manage a point.

Here's to a good football game. Cheers!

SOTWA: A much more balance side, Benitez has taken a leaf out of Sam's book and consentrated on keeping clean sheets before scoring goals. Benitez needs to find a world class finisher though if you are ever to seriously contend with Man Utd and Chelsea.

Sorry, thats just hilarious :lmao

Rafa Benitez, student of the game, learnt his trade from some of the best managers from England, Spain and Italy, La Liga winner twice, UEFA Cup winner, European Champion.......taking a leaf out of Sam Allerdyces book

Pricesless :lmao
