It wasn't a jibe I was interested in if there are any plans afoot to improve and I thought that would be more your area than ticketing at least.

He is in the media dept, can't see how that would be anything to do with sorting the atmosphere out.

Ah I got media and marketing mixed up, thought there may have been some cross promotion stuff in marketing.

Who said ticketing wasn't more important? I'd argue they were unrelated personally - I work in media, hence I create media stuff - if I worked in ticketing, I'd be trying to address this issue - albeit with the weight of FFP on my shoulders.

As you work in media,  could you please get LFCTV on to Virgin.  i know Virgin customers are poor relations in this digital TV business,  but we paid extra to get the Virgin XL package so we could watch LFCTV in appalling quality for years,  yet now we aren't even worthy of the channel at all since you've gone HD - and of course our Virgin subscription hasn't gone down in recompence (I know this bit isn't your fault :) ) ?  Just askin like!!!
Rossiter absolutely bossed it tonight. Really believe he'll end up playing more games this season than Lucas.

I think people should stop asking Paul about atmosphere, it's the same is you met a player in the street, would you give off to him about the atmosphere? Of course not, it's not their remit, and it's not Paul's. He's come on here to ask for an insight into a website, if you not bothered about it, the leave other issues for other threads.

For what it's worth, I quite like the new website, though some of the layouts (for quizzes for example) are a bit confusing. But generally, I quite like it. Prefer it to the proper site!

Right, talking about atmospheres - who wants to write Top 10 Anfield atmospheres ever? If someone writes it, I'll bring it up in my daily marketing department meeting and we'll think of ways we can improve the page impressions.

Quick bit of market research on RAWK for a week long feature I'm planning - what's everyone's opinion on animal-crosses and does anyone have a particular favourite?
malamute wolf hybrid

As for other lists:

Scouse or wool - can they spot the difference between a carra and an owen
Hot or not - no not the ladies team but something for the ladies - basically photo galleries of pegguy arpexhead, riise and that igor biscan photo
are you carra in disguise - the top 10 own goals in the clubs history
Did we keep the receipt - top 10 worst signings in the clubs history
What's the point? - the top 10 meaningless games in lfc's history
What the f*** - top 10 moments you never saw coming, featuring Titus brambles worldie in front of the kop
Top 10 reasons why JT and lamps are better than gerrard and carragher

Paul - while some people dislike and some people like the style of LFC Xtra, EVERYONE who has ever existed and will ever exist fucking HATES slideshow style lists. Put it all on one page. Is it to get more hits? Is it to annoy every semblance of our being? Is it to incite a mass riot? All plausible answers.

Please address this.

Seems to be proving popular so far.

I like to mix it up, Spanish Top 10 was on one page, as were training kit items and many others - like the Chelsea fans forum, the Skrtel 'facts' and all the art galleries.

Some other features - the seriously investigative journalism, like the dogs in kits and the people who haven't spoken about Balotelli - are in a slideshow format.

Keep people guessing - what will it be today?

How about a video feature where kolo toure and rickie lambert discuss who would win in a fight between a lion and a tiger, then followed by jose Enrique and adam lallana discussing their favourite cuts of steak?

Maybe gerrard and Flanagan also discussing climate change?

Im enjoying the site so far, and I dont mind the slideshow lists (although I would prefer scrolling down as others said). Trying to find the Balotelli questions was a fecking nightmare though, I only found one!!  :no :no :no

I am checking the site every day at the minute, which I guess is what they want, but to the detriment of the main site. I never go there at the minute, RAWK and Xtra are my two LFC websites.

Well done Rogers... I've changed my mind about this site. It's actually revolutionary, 1,000 times better than that commissioned shite of an official website. After a few more months I'm sure the club could justify laying off around 250 staff surplus to requirement and running operations from a converted terrace house in south Liverpool. That would actually be awesome! bringing the club closer to the fans. do it.

It's an embarrassment really. Went on it the other day and saw some sort of belittling dig at Paul Konchesky. That's no way to behave towards ex-players for LFC's official platforms. It was hardly shocking, but still in very bad taste at best if you ask me. Slagging off former employees is best left to Empire of the Kop, The Anfield Wrap, RAWK or another fan platform, even if it concerns Konchesky.
It's just sex and violence, melody and silence.
