He's starting to get rattled a bit here, hope he can stay in the picture. He does look a player though.

Nice one mate I'll keep an eye out for when the new league starts.

This course looks quite tough. It's not a long track and it's being played at altitude but if you miss a fairway you can run up massive numbers.

Very tight, they were saying earlier on commentary that even a lot shots from the fairway are blocked by trees.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Dustin with an absolutely insane shot from a tough lie in the bunker. Looks to have it all wrapped up.

Yeah would've been great to see, great putt on 18 from Fleetwood to make it some bit interesting.

Got caught in the face by his caddie after he holed the putt  ;D Wouldn't want to be facing DJ in the World Match Play in a few weeks, he looks immortal at this point.

Saw that  ;D Yeah he looks the one to beat so far, wonder if he can keep this up for the year? He's currently 9/1 to finish top 10 in all majors, mightn't be a bad bet.

I don't think he can keep this level up but I certainly wouldn't be backing against him any time he tees it up. I'll be surprised if he doesn't win at least 1 major this year.

Baring serious injury there's no chance he won't be there. He's joined the European Tour and will qualify on merit easily.

Still the greatest player I've watched in person, a phenomenal golfer. The only player I'd pay serious money to watch play the game

The players this week, looks like Rory has switched to taylormade. Definitely a club ho ATM

I was having a look at Sergio for this week. 5 top 10 finishes in the last 10 years at Sawgrass including his win there in 2008. The only thing that worries me is he might still be on cloud 9 after his masters win. With all the media commitments that come with that he probably hasn't played a lot of golf.

Is that why they are now allowing Taylormade players where Nike apparel?

Rory is contracted to Nike for clothing but they don't do clubs anymore so he was a free agent - all manufacturers would be aware and sign him for clubs on that basis

Has he signed for taylormade or he just decided to use them?

He has signed a 5 year 100 million dollar deal where he will use their clubs, balls and bag. It's just weird seeing Jason Day in all Nike clothing even though he's a Taylormade player. Never really seen that before.

I expect him to challenge again now that he is with some proper club makers who has pedigree. Using Nike clubs was a mistake and even a guy as talented as Tiger took a year to get it right after switching from Titleist.

Still can't putt lol
It's not the ball, it's not the putter, it's what's between his ears.

However, that being said, whatever Scotty he used to win the FedEx last year, put that back into play. Stop fucking signing deals and think about what matters, winning. Wasting his career chasing the big contracts. Bwtf do I know

Spieth playing a playoff against Daniel Berger in the Travelers C'ship makes a horlicks of the playoff hole: smacks his tee shot into a tree and gets a lucky rebound on to the fairway, then hits his approach into the bunker.
Then holes from the bunker to win it.

Incredible. I was gonna have some money on him this week as well, his short odds put me off. Fucker :D

He's wonderful to watch. I think his Augusta meltdown still hangs over him but a victory like today will go a long way to putting that to the back of his mind. He'll win at Augusta again, probably more than once.

If Spieth is leading after 36 holes the chances are he's going to win. I don't have any stats to hand but I reckon his Masters collapse if probably the only time he's lost from that kind of position.
