The Gruss and other trading platform thread.
« on: August 31, 2010, 08:20:32 pm »
Just got back into a bit of horse trading after a dabble a few years ago.
Bit like poker i thought id give it a try and similarly i thought "this isnt for me".

Went back to poker and a few years later my game has come on quite well.

Once again past experience and wise words from a few old heads on the betfair forum made me start dabbling again.

a new approach.

Anyone else into trading?
got any experiences to share (i know you wont want to divulge any secrets)?

I seem to get the bug for this at the start of summer after exams for a few weeks. I steadily build my bank up and then in 1 mad day i lose it all.

It's all about discipline, and i have none of it whatsoever.

I had the trial for BetAngel Professional for my first stint at it. That ran out after 40 days (i lost my bank before that anyway).
The second time i used The geeks toy, which is free and is great.

As i said it's all about discipline and you can either do it or you can't. It can be so frustrating when you spend a few hours building the profit and one mistake or bit of greediness can wipe all that hard work out.

See you in here again next summer!  :wave

P.S: A couple of websites i came across whilst looking for tips!
