RIP Ronnie Moran, a true great of the game and more importantly an incredible servant of this great club we love.

They just don't make them like Bugsy anymore.

Another essential piece of the glory years disappears from view.

He was an integral part of the Boot Room team, a team of people that delivered on the pitch. It has never been replaced.

Reminiscing last night about Ronnie's testimonial game v Celtic. An incredible turn out ON A TUESDAY NIGHT!  by the boys from Parkhead. I think it was estimated there was about 12,000 of them and they sang and bounced (and nearly broke the stand) all night long, and helped pay a great tribute to a great man.

Can't really add to what has already been said. A true great and with the way footy is now, I doubt we'll ever see another Ronnie Moran.

RIP Great Man  :(

Not normally one of those superstitious types, but this morning it rained for hours and then when the minute's applause started the sun came out. Bugsy enjoyed that 3-1.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

Brilliant today. The world "legend" is way over used these days. It should be saved for people just like Ronnie Moran.

I responded to the call for help with that mosaic. Took 30-35 of us over two hours to get it done.

Btw, the next mosaic for the Hillsborough anniversary I helped out on that one as well. That one took 3 hours. More colors and detail.

Either we are a club of supporters or become a club of customers.

Said the same in the Afield thread. He dedicated his life to the club, and the vast majority of that was at Melwood training and improving the players.

Would be fitting

A great man by all accounts and an integral part of the Shankly and Paisley era. RIP
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

RIP Ronnie saw him briefly as a player, later bootroom, what a wonderful and humble servant he was for this club.

Good call about the training ground but the Bugsy Ground needs work i think.
