Mane burns down the left and flicks it over but too high and no one there. Gini in the box sidesteps one, two, and then falls down. Ref not interested. Corner.

Matip goes down as his cheekbone collides with a Otamendi's arm.

30' - Clyne does well to keep pace with Sane - that lad is fast. Sane eventually fouls him and Mignolet restarts play.

30 minutes have flown by - City look the slicker of the teams.

32' - Klavan nearly falls over his feet as tries to move the ball forward. Fortunately he recovers and no harm done.

Reds looking a touch more comfortable on the ball now.

33' - Milner with a good block to prevent a Sterling cross from getting into the box. Corner is well cleared, small break forward, City with a small break back.

The ball is moved up and Coutinho finds himself in free space. He tries one of his trademark kicks into the top right but misses. Vintage Phil would bag that.
