He's not actually funny, is he? I mean, not really. I've got Boosh on the recommendation of a mate, and there's the odd decent bit (mostly involving Julian Barrett), but Fieldings comedy is basically sticking every word in the dictionary in a hat and pulling two or three out at random.

Oh, a kleptomaniac french rhinoceros horn. Hysterical.

Ya, Julian Barrett is clearly the talent of the two, another victory for substance over style.

The Boosh was great, until the 6th form crowd caught wind of it and ruined its credibility, but it was largely down to Barrett yeah.

Fielding is all style and no substance. He'd come up with a weird idea and Julien would make it funny.

I've seen him do solo stand up and properly stank the house down, all 'wacky-quirky-surreal' bollocks with zero charm or wit.

Barratt is definitely the talented side of the act.

He's another lad who's dropped off the radar. Got a feeling his lost radio show will forever be his crowning glory, his double act with Matt Morgan is as fuuny as anything Iv ever heard, pity it all ended in tears for them.

Again though I thought it was Morgan that made the radio show what it was. He was a great foil for Brand.

Dont think you can say he's dropped off the radar though really, he's making Hollywood movies now, Brand that is.

Russell would be just rambling along and Matt would interrupt him with something like "You horrible 80's man" and they'd go off on one, loved that show.

Totally agree, the banter with Julian Barrett and him are by far the best thing about the boosh.

The show could go either way I think. I do wonder if it'll all gel together without Julian Barrat.

Could watch Julian Barratt in anything, Noel Fielding is always hit and miss.

I do hope this is decent though.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Not anywhere near the Boosh.

Liked - the Pele art thing, saucer or football.

Disliked - pretty much everything else.

Missed - the moon, but wife said he made a brief cameo

It was as if a group of A-Level art and drama students had been given a very big budget and told to go off and make a tv show.

Fielding's managed to make the worst show on a channel which also airs Desperate Scouswives. Some achievement that.

Awful.

Fielding is an absolute bellend.

Watching him on buzzcocks I half expect it to be canned laughter but people think he's funny. Anyone can do a Fielding joke:

"I went for a job today"
Wait 10 seconds
"No I don't mean a blow job"
Pull surprised troll face
