Give me a shout if you find anywhere good as I'll be there for a couple of games in January. Great city!

If you speak Polish, try this: http://forum.lfc.pl/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=753&start=6840

Looks like they've suggested this place previously: http://www.pubfelicita.pl/ but that was for United.

Didnt find anywhere with our game on but next night found a bar call Haggis that had Arsenal vs Saints on

Anyone know any where good to catch the game today in Nice, France. Searching online is proving difficult cos it's called Nice

Watching the match on sunday in Vegas which will be 8am their time... off a bit of looking it seems the irish pub Ri Ra, Mandalay bay is the place to go as the liverpool supporters group in vegas go there sometimes, but I didn't see any mention of it in the links here.

Can anyone back this up or are there better places where fans go to watch?

Most importantly though, I'd much rather go to a place thats overwhelmingly LFC fans even if its not great, as I seriously could not handle a bunch of mancs screaming at the tv, or throwing insults for the whole match. I'd rather pick it up on my laptop in the room, or get text updates or go watch britney spears. You get the point  :)

Hey guys, anyone know if the Southampton game is on TV on the South island of New Zealand?  What are the best pubs around to watch the game?

When your in Las Vegas most "sports books" part of the casino's should show the match. Or ask the concierge of the hotel.

You can also try this place. It's nearer the airport than the casino strip area.

The Crown and Anchor
1350 E. Tropicana Ave.
Las Vegas, NV 89119

Also if you're staying in a decent hotel, check the tv channels for NBCSN, that's what channel we will be on.

You could email the Christchurch and Dunedin contacts listed at the bottom of this page: www.liverpoolfcnz.com/watching-games

Or join the Christchurch LFC supporters' Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/679949905429249/ or the main LFC NZ supporters' group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/71538382088

In Christchurch, the Craythorne or the Craic seem to be the places but no idea if they'll be open at 8.45am.

The Craythorne might be a good bet. It was recommended to me when I was in NZ 10 years ago and they let my mrs and I watch the Barca champions league game where we lost 1-0 but went through. That was about 7.45am. We'd already been in there earlier in the week for the Yernited home game which we also lost 1-0 thanks to OShea in the 98th minute.
94 Corner to us. Last kick. Ali in the box and he’s scored

Streams are your best bet. Try r/soccerstreams on reddit. They usually have some streams for ipads as well.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Finnegan's is THE ONLY Irish owned, of all the Irish Pubs in Rome and Florence. We show all English and Scottish Premiership football and all other sporting events being aired. If it's on, and you want to see it, you can see it here.
[5 May 2005]: Managed to catch the Liverpool matches in this Liverpool friendly bar (thanks Rushian).
[19 Jan 2006]: If you want to catch a Liverpool match, Finnegans is pretty good, saw us lose to Crystal Palace in there... :-\  all in all friendly to Liverpool fans...

Am I right in thinking the best place for games in Wellington NZ is The Four Kings? It seemed quite busy for a 9am game yesterday!  Do they show all games regardless of KO time?  I've caught 2 games whilst I've been in the Southern Hemisphere and we've lost both 😆

I think there will be somewhere showing it.  I messaged the Christchurch supporters club and they didn't bother replying, so don't worry about them.  If you message the NZ supporters club on Facebook, you'll probably find the right spot!

Check to see if your hotel has Sky, you might get lucky and find it on your hotel telly.

I did see this posted elsewhere:

In Christchurch the big premiership and Internationals are usually shown live at The Bard On Avon pub on the corner of Oxford Terrace and Gloucester Street, in the heart of the city.

So go there and see or give them a call to find out if they show the match live or delayed. if they can't help, just ask who in town would show the match live.

Edit: You might check here as well:

http://christchurchcasino.nz/en/restaurants-bars/monza-sports-bar

And if I did my time zones correct, it will be a 9AM kickoff in Christchurch Tuesday morning... :wave

Christchurch update:

The Speights Alehouse on Bealey Avenue opens at 7am and they'll switch it over to an evening game if you ask (they even put the sound up). They also have a buffet breakfast and if you're lucky you could get a pint. Alternatively, the Stock Xchange on Manchester Street has sports and they open at 8am, so should also be an option between October and April.

Maybe some mod might want to sticky this somewhere appropriate.

Pubs Around The World To Watch the Match
« Reply #348 on: May 8, 2017, 08:28:29 pm »
We have a thread that lists good places to watch the match in Liverpool.

I have created a map that could be used to post good places to watch around the world........so if you are on holiday or travelling then you could use the map to find a good friendly place to watch the match.

Would this work or is it a pile of shite? Do we have a similar thread? Let me know or delete the thread if you think it stinks.

Obviously I cannot give edit access to anyone otherwise it would get ruined in no time.

At this stage I just want ideas of how to build it up or whether it is going to be useful.
I could add layers per country or region rather than just a flat list. There are three locations on the map already as examples.

I could give edit access to several people who become mods of the map and enter new locations.

Or I could give edit access to anyone who PMs me but that could get out of control and all it takes is one idiot who decides to mess around.

The eventual aim would be to provide a map that people can use when they want to find a new place to watch the match.

I don't think I can add any notes or reviews to the map.

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1yKFu8U7rlVwkejIS68QOjSgUSps&ll=18.717828468703452%2C-5.2312828999999965&z=3

Let me know if you can view the map and then try to edit or to send me a request via the map to edit (you should not be able to do either).

I didn't really know where to put it. I also wanted to start slowly and not get too many ideas initially; one of the mods will either close the thread if it's a bad idea or move it to a better place.

It looks like there is a restriction on the number of layers that can be put onto one map (I was going to use one layer per country).

I've updated the map for Austria to France (Europe).

LFC Pubs - Europe - A to F

Is there any point going further (I can cover all of the venues in this thread but it may take 20 or so maps to do it)

A quick review of:

Carragher's Pub & Restaurant
228 W 39th St, NY 10018
New York, USA

It's more of a restaurant than bar. You can sit at the bar but most people will be sitting at tables eating. It seems that there are hundreds of TV screens (well about 20 or 30). It's just a minute's walk from Time Square. I watched the Crystal Palace match there last month and the atmosphere was ok but obviously it was a bit dead due to the score.

It's a clean and nice pub that obviously does homage to our Jamie.

In Frankfurt for the day. Can anyone recommend any good bars which will be showing the game?

Thanks!

I'm in Camp De Mar in Majorca. Anyone know somewhere around here that will be showing our game on Saturday? Seems there is fuck all in the resort itself

Not sure where else to post this.......taking my 9 year old lad to the Huddersfield home game. Any recommendations for somewhere kid friendly I can get a pre match pint and he can have a drink and some crisps?

Can anyone recommend a good place to watch the Arsenal home game over the weekend in central Madrid?

Thanks!

We're off to Beadnell,  Northumberland next month and need somewhere to watch the PL Leicester game and the CL game on the 26th that's not too far away.
