Brendan's deffo had a word with him about being a senior player for us. He is very experienced for his age Mario and I think the added responsibility on his shoulders will ground him. The younger players in the squad will love him and forever pulling his arm for advice.

He will be right at home here.

This is absolutely amazing. He's a great talent and football would be dull if not for characters like Balotelli. And for only 16 mil this could prove to be a bargain down the road.

£16 million for a player of his talent and quality is madness. people would have paid that for him if/when he was 18 years old and just starting out and showing promise.

lets have a good start, build some momentum and show this to be an absolute bargain

he seems to have matured a lot and couldn't have picked a better team to be joining to improve himself.

He'll be loved, valued, appreciated and supported beyond belief. By his team mates, by the coaching staff, the supporters, everyone at the club.

This will be totally new for him and finally FINALLY in that environment he will blossom.

Top 5 player in the world within 2 seasons. No pressure Mario. Do what comes natural. Naturally you WILL be one of the best. I'm certain of it.
