I thought he looked very composed, dictated tempo and looked to organise things.

Quite impressed to be honest.

Rodgers said no strain just taken off as a precaution as he felt a slight tightness. Good news!

I agree. Kept showing for the ball too and also made a couple forward runs that probably could have been better utilised.

Hope it's just a simple strain.

First impressions are that he looks athletic and composed but in terms of touch and technique he looks a level below Lucas and Allen.

Hard to believe hes only 20, what are they feeding them these days?

Anyway, shame he never got more time today but best not to push him if hes carrying a knock. Would like to see him alongside SG or Hendo and see which role hes more comfortable in.

Why are people bad-mouthing Huddlestone?  :D He's actually a good footballer. Shame he's so immobile and slow off the mark, but Can doesn't have that problem. So it's a comparison I'm quite interested by.

I actually missed the first half due to the weather fucking up my satellite dish, so only caught the second and saw nothing of him. Liking some of the comments though.

Would not go toe-to-toe with this guy.

Would agree his close control technique does not look quite as smooth as Lucas or a quick as Allen's, but neither is Henderson's and he's the most effective of the three in this team. It doesn't matter as much as how strong your legs and lungs are playing that position ahead of the DM.

First impressions are that he looks athletic and composed but in terms of touch and technique he looks a level below Lucas and Allen.

I thought he was near flawless.

His worst moments were a slightly overhit long ball, and one time where he almost gave the ball away.

The only upside of us not signing Sanchez is that we won't have to put up with that frankly creepy short hitching up thing he does every time there is a pause in play.
