To be honest any time I've been to Mojo on a weeknight it's been dead, about 10 people in there, defo not a bonus.

Fair chance it'll be busier on the evening of the Derby, though?

Was going to be my suggestion, too, for what it's worth.

Possibly, but nothing like it is at the weekend, and there certainly won't be the same amount of top level snatch that is there at the weekend.

There is a new bar opening on Seel St in about a month, from the lads behind Santa Chuptios and El Bandito called "Salt Dog Slims" , it's looks pretty epic to be honest. There is no official site yet, but there is a twitter feed. There are going to be doing bespoke American cocktails and lagers, using tins like they use milk bottles in Santas.

Will definately be checking it out when it opens, it's on one of the 3/4 storey buildings too, huge.

Any suggestions on a decent boozer that will definately be showing the game tomorrow, looking to go the Bold Street/Hardman Street end of town. Took my mates into the Ye Cracke for the derby last week and bloody Holby City came on!

me arl fella loves the empire,

last season though watching the chelsea at home game, we scored about  5 minutes before half time, i was watching it in o'neils.  extatic from the goal, i ran over to the empire to have a swifty with me dad at half time, but in there the delay was such that torres' goals hadn't even arrived yet.  they didn't believe me that we where one nil up and it was half time
Sir, the cash monies?

On the terrace of Matou down the Pier Head next to the museum. First time here, great views, cold booze, sun and great food. Good way to try and get over yesterday.

We got in there when they did the video show last summer for the 100th Liver Building anniversary. Cracking view.

The guys behind these bars seem to be putting a good few bars together.  Hope they stick around and don't over do it like the now defunct Korova group!

Any good/cheap cocktail bars or bars that do good cocktails around the city centre?

Also where is decent to go on a Sunday, the couple of times I have been out on a Sunday night its been quiet enough.

I'm with the other half whereas I'm usually out with the lads so it will be a more reserved night  :D
