I live in Southampton, not too far from Southampton Central or Parkway stations.

I would be happy to pick people up at Southampton station and give them a lift to Bournemouth and back - if anyone can sort me a ticket.

Kick off time might put off the credit chasers though, there could be a few.

Small allocation, credit hunters desperate for one just in case we get to the final, not interested in travelling all the way down south at 3am in the morning just to get there in time for a 1245 kick off. I reckon there'll be a fair amount of credit hunters out for this one.

Heard a rumour the club are going to take the allocation back to Luton away as well.

Don't buy that. Those high up on the fa cup ladder are more likely than not far from credit hunters.

I believe that for the Mansfield game we had an allocation of 1,383 and Oldham 2,761 (going back to Luton i believe that was 1,740)

On that basis it should go on Oldham away, if we get 2,400.

I'm a STH with Preston Everton Reading United and Oldham aways, but not Luton and Mansfield. However if we do get an allocation of 2400 I think I'd just about scrape a ticket

It'd be pages of requests with just about zero chance of getting hold of one, due to the scarcity and the requirements to qualify for them from the club.

And that's exactly what happened with Mansfield a year ago. Lots of people looking to buy. Nobody looking to sell. I agree. An exchange for this match would be pointless.

Understand the point Barney but if we get 2,400 that's the same as Sunderland, Swansea etc and it's an early kick off on the south coast.

There will definitely be lots of requests but there will be at least a few spares flying about (HOPEFULLY!!)

2,400 is 20% isn't it? 12,000 capacity. Thought 10% was the usual allocation.

We'll see what the story is when the numbers are known.

Luton was the last game that you could get as a non-ST.  (I have a credit for it.)

Preston only had ST-holder sales.  Some subsequent FA cup aways had sales for non-ST, which was pretty pointless, because without Preston, you wouldn't be eligible for any later games.  FA Cup aways have been a closed shop to non-ST for the past 5 years.  Any exceptions would be STs who have given back their ST -- do they exist? -- and anyone who managed to persuade the Ticket Office to let them have a ticket despite not being eligible.

does anyone know how they club receive the tickets from other clubs? was gunna say surely for this with such a short time scale they'll have them specially delivered or something, seen other clubs have them on sale the day after or 2 days after the replay when the following match has been that weekend/weekend after.

I would have thought LFC would have had someone at the game on Tuesday night to discuss ticket and security arrangements for the next round and would have travelled back Wednesday morning with the allocation of tickets.

even if they don't have tickets they can always announce it today/tomorrow with what its going to be and then arrange a sale, could even have weekend sales I reckon for this.

The clubs wouldn't have printed them before they knew if they were getting through. If it was at home we could have printed them with FA4 on and no club name, but a home club isn't go to do that, especially ones that don't have much money.

Personally I am hoping they aren't on sale tomorrow, but knowing how late they often release the details, they might. But it would be tight. Printed Wed, sent Thurs, received Friday would mean a Mon sale unless it's later on Friday (but what if they didn't arrive on time?!) or Sat which I think would be very unlikely with all the match-day collections to sort. Watch them prove me wrong now...! :D

They were on sale Wednesday morning at Bournmouth, the ticket machine would spit 2400 tickets out in no time, LFC will have them now.
