I've got the same mate plus 1 or 2 more. From memory, the lowest allocation out of that lot was Palace @ 3733, Plymouth will be around 2K so no chance of us qualifying. Thankfully I'm pretty much nailed on to get a spare.

Considering it's midweek and at the other end of the planet, is there any chance of Plymouth (a) going down to members or general sale?
Wouldn't have thought so. New ground for most. Not a huge allocation....

Who would we need to get drawn against for a chance to get on the ladder then? Someone like Blackburn/Wigan where we'd get 5,000?

Given that Home Park is a continuous single tier on three sides they can pretty much put the divide in whatever place gives us 15% .  So around 2500.   Given the short time scales I expect it will be anyone with Exeter and West Ham followed by ST holders with either Exeter or West Ham when it will sell out.   Fingers crossed it doesn't and members with West Ham get a shout.

No chance it should go to anyone with West Ham only (even ST holders), that was a huge allocation.

Not much time for these sales. There'll be no sales Wednesday because of the game or Thursday morning so they'll want them gone as soon as.

Highly doubt they'll mess about doing like 4,3,2,1 games from the last 6 or whatever they'll just want them sold.

If we only get 15% it's gonna murder for people with all but Exeter! The next smallest allocation in recent years was Palace and that was well over 3000, loads are gonna miss out

They know the allocation already.  They have to ask for it before the first match.  As it's a pain in the arse to get to, they should tell us tomorrow really.  I suppose they need to find out how many corporates and sponsors want to take before giving selling details but there's no reason they can't tell us the allocation.  If it is the expected 2,800 ish I can forget about it but if it's going to be whole end I might need to start making plans.

BBC site showing Tue 17/01, FA site showing Wed 18/01.

Logic says that it will be on Wed 18/01 as we are playing on the previous Sunday and the following Saturday whereas Plymouth are playing on the Saturday either side.

The under 23s are due to play United on the Monday night(16th)as well, so could well see the experienced players being brought out on the Wednesday.

The previous allocations were as follows :

1347 – Exeter
5990 – West Ham
825 – Wimbledon
5046 – Bolton
3733 – Palace
7223 – Blackburn
2080 – Bournemouth
5186 - Arsenal

So IF we get 2080 or more, I reckon the selling criteria will be :

6/8 – guaranteed
5/8 – not guaranteed

I guess we'll find out today or tomorrow.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it go back to Oldham. That is likely to be the closest allocation to Plymouth. Mansfield not necessary as anyone with that will have all the others except maybe Wimbledon

Oldham was 2761, I very much doubt that we will get that many as that will be more than 15%.

I know. But we will probably get more than 2100. So Oldham would cut numbers out. By only using Palace thatcwpuld leave 1700 or so fighting for a couple of hundred tickets

If we get the full 15% (2611), they'll be a max. of 1653 going for a max. of 531 tickets so roughly a 1 in 3 chance.

My point is that the Oldham allocation will probably be more than what we'll get for Plymouth so no point in including it. I only went back as far as Bournemouth as that was the highest allocation that they'll include for a guaranteed sale. If they do it as I said, they'll still only need to do 2 sales.

Anyway, either way we'll find out soon enough.

?

No mention of it on the BBC live feed and the FA site still says the Wednesday.

EDIT - Now confirmed on the Plymouth website as Wednesday 18th. The BBC have updated their site with the correct date now as well. Happy with that as I was struggling to make the Tuesday  :)

Arsenal was in that group - 5th round, 16 Feb '14. I know they don't always go by this, but chronology going back for those games is -

West Ham
Exeter
Blackburn
C.Palace
Bolton
Wimbledon
Arsenal
Bournemouth

So, can see them going for Exeter initially, which would be guaranteed. Then, maybe 6 of the remaining 7 for the tickets left...........or they may not !
